How to get around?

Ok we are staying at POFQ. How do i get around?
Where does the monorail go? The buses?

I'm just trying to find the fasting way to get around there.

You have a choice of bus or boat at POFQ. The boats go to DTD and the buses go everywhere else. The monorail only goes to and from the MK and Epcot from the monorail hotels only. They are Polynesian, grand floridian, and the contemporary. If you are having dinner at one of those resorts, then you can take the monorail to and from Epcot or MK. You will have to stop at the Ticket and transportation monorail stop to change for epcot. Read the sign carefully when you go to board or ask a cm so you know what you should be doing. The buses and boats at POFQ are excellent. You will have no problems or long waits there.

Disney transportation is effecient and easy to use. You can always ask a CM how to get where you want to go. A car is really only convienent if you are visiting other resorts.

If heading to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans, I always suggest taking the boat! It is such a nice ride and a little mini-attraction in and of itself. It's one of my favorite things about staying at POR!

I have never had any problems with the buses at POR. There are several bus stops throughout the resort, when you check in, the will point out the one closest to your room.

We were really pleased with the bus transportation at POR & FQ. It never took very long to get anywhere.
