Ride questions
I am sure I will ask about a million questions over the next 55 days, so here goes. I have only been to magic kingdom once when I was a teenager and don't remember all the answer to questions that I now have returning as parent. So now that I have resigned to fact that I am insane enough to travel with my three DD 7, 3, 1 1/2, oh and my DH:D , I have some questions
Are we going to have a hard time with rides. I read that 3 can fit in Dumbo, what about other rides like snow white, pooh, small world, extra... Will my oldest daughter have to ride alone on most of these or will I be able to sit with my two youngest and DH can sit with DD,7. I am fairly small frame and the two youngest are small, if that helps. I am also hoping that we can watch the fireworks from the beach at the poly, but we aren't staying their. Can we still sit on the beach to watch the fireworks? If not any other recomendations. I have a ps dinner at Chef Mickeys for 7:00 and it would be a perfect start to the trip for us without having to waste a day of park hopper ticket(hoping to spend what ever time we have before this swiming and resting, maybe go downtown disney). Third question(can you tell I am a first timer at this), how hard is it to get a late check out. We are spending the last night at AKL and want to have the morning to enjoy the hotel before we leave. Oh, Anyone else going to be at DW April 27-May1? Thanks for your help, stay tuned for the next batch of questions:dazed

The third question is easy. All you have to do to request an early checkout is call the front desk early in the morning on the day you check out. I was successful this trip..because I called at 6 am! Early check out is at 1 pm.

Hi there
I can help out with one of your questions. My husband and I rode with our 4 year old on most rides throughout Fantasyland. We had no problems and I wouldn't say we are small people. We are about average. I am sure you can do it too. Have fun!:D |

You will have to ride without your hubby on a few rides. On Dumbo, you and 2 girls on one, and your hubby and one girl on another (have your hubby sit in front of you, and he can turn around and take your picture!) Check out www.wdwig.com, there are pictures of several of the ride "vehicles" there.
You will also find a great spot to watch the fireworks by reading the "fireworks viewing areas" article on www.wdwig.com, and from the comments of everyone here. BTW, you CAN watch the fireworks from the Poly, even though you are not staying there. Just take the monorail from Chef Mickeys after dinner to the Poly, and walk down to the "beach" and enjoy! You said you are staying the last night at AKL, where will you spend the rest of your trip??

Thanks
Thanks for the help. I was hoping that as long as myself and the two of the kids could ride together and the other with hubby. Myself, him and one of the kids wouldn't all fit in one seat:nooo:
We are spending 4 nights at All Star Movies and one at AKL. Wish we could stay longer, but I am already having doubts about spending money on the trip. I could be facing yet another layoff as Michigan's budget/employment outlook is bleak:cry: On a positive note. I am am very happy to know that we can visit the beach for the fireworks, thanks we are all so wonderful. ![]()
