help me decide to hop or not

I am going to WDW 9/16-9/23 and staying offsite with my DH our 2 kids (9, 4) and my niece and her son (3). I would like to do as much as possible, can't you tell who's the disney maniac of the bunch

but I know the weather will be very hot especially for the little ones. We have plans to visit the parks 4 days and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to hop or not. What would you do? These are my tenative plans if we decide to hop.

Sun: AK/EP
Mon: EP/MK
Tue: MK/AK
Wed: MGM

I was thinking that if we hit the parks at opening then we can get alot accomplished in a few hours then head back to the resort for swim/nap then back to parks in the evening. I tried to plan the days around the EMH days, is there anyhing else I should consider? With the heat and possible crowds I don't want everyone to get burned out. Suggestions anyone?

DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY, DEFINITELY HOP!!!!!!! You can't plan how crowds will be each day. Let's say you walk into MK, totally forgetting it was EMH that morning. You get there at about 10ish...it's TOTALLY packed! Without a hopper, you'd be stuck there. But with the hoppers, you could just say LET'S HOP ON OVER TO EPCOT.

HOP!! HOP!! HOP!! HOP!!

I would definitely hop!! When I went there it was also blazing hot, but looking back at the experience I don't regret anything.

I also vote for hopping...gives you much more flexibilty. And, as we all know, flexibility is the key with little ones!!!

Ok...you've already made ONE mistake by staying offsite.

Don't make another and NOT park hop. It is really the only way to go, and allows you a ton more options with the smaller guys.

I own timeshare offsite.

Sun: AK/EP: ADRs for Donald's Breakfastsaurous
Mon: EP/MK: ADRs none probably counter service
Tue: MK: ADRs for dinner at Ohana's
Wed: MGM: ADRs for H&V Character Lunch
Thur: SW
Fri: SW/MNSSHP: ADR's Crystal Palace

I would like to get AK in again, we'll see!!

It's not a huge price difference to get a hopper and it allows you so much flexibility. It's worth the little bit of money.

I don't have a big affinity for staying onsite. It's nice if you can do it, but not that big a deal if staying off site is what enables you to go to Disney. After all, getting there is the main goal. When we bring all our boys, we stay off site in a rental home. It works for us on many levels.
