Lightning & Mater at Disney Studios

Can anyone tell me about the Cars interaction at Disney Studios? Has anyone met them?

Also, is there a way for me to find out if they'll still be there in December?

Because meeting Lightning and Mater? Would make DS5's entire life.

I saw them at DCA, and I am SO excited to find out they're at the Studios. I'm not going to mention it to DS5, though- I don't want him to be disappointed if they're not there.

The Cars meet and greet is nifty. They meet on the Streets of America next to Lights, Motors, Action. It's also where the Power Rangers meet. They're brought out by a car salesman and allow for you to come up and get all the pictures you need of the two now VERY famous cars. It's pretty popular so I'm pretty sure it'll be still happening in December. Will let you know if anything changes.

What *exactly* is the Cars meet and greet? Do the cars talk at all (a hidden microphone somewhere?) Just wondering, 'cause we may try to take our niece to it.

Um, the cars are REAL so there's no hidden microphone. They'll talk to you themselves, because they're characters. And what's special about Disney characters? THEY'RE REAL!!!!

But it's just a chance for you and your family to get your picture taken with the famous Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater.

(And if you still don't believe me that they're real, take a really good look at Lightning. He has no doors, so how in the world can someone get inside and drive him? They can't! And they're not remote controlled. Guess you'll just have to accept the fact they're real.

Are you saying that Lightning and Mater TALK????? They're not strong, silent types like your friend Goofy?

They can talk actually. They just may not talk during the meet and greet because they, like most characters, save their voices for parades, shows, commercial and film shoots, etc.

And I wish Goofy was actually more silent. When he starts singing, especially in the DAK parade there's no shutting him up!!!
