Have the boats at small world been changed since the remodel??

My DH and I are having a "discussion" about the boats at small world. He feels the boats have been changed. I think they are the same boats they always had. He bases he feeling on the fact that he can't get in them like he used to. I told him it's his knees that have changed, they don't bend like they used to. So, all you experts, what's the answer???

I'm no expert but I didn't notice any difference when we were there in May.

Yes... they have been changed. They are now equipped with tennis-ball launching cannons...

(Remember that hilarious thread here that mentioned that giving the adults a bag of tennis balls as they boarded the boat would make the ride so much more fun!!!???) LOL!!!!!

I think Disney has a little factory manufacturing these things. They also have the Small World's in WDW and DL (and maybe the overseas parks). They also have the Pirates of the Caribbean rides, and the Mexican Pavillon. We then have the "steriod versions" in the Land Pavillion and Norway.

In all seriousness they haven't changed much.

I didn't notice anything different about the boats excpet they looked "cleaner". They were the same exact size....perfect postioning to throw softballs at the dolls as we pass.

Seriously, they are the same ol boats as far as I can tell.
