MY TIP

This is a great Idea to learn from others

I agree with the others that say don't rush. There is so much more to do and look at than the rides. The entertainment is great and there is always something going on if you just stop and look around to enjoy the magic.
My idea on the soda is I bought a quart size water jug with a thermal lining. It had a wide mouth on it so that ice would fit in it easily. We bought the refillable mugs and filled the JUgs instead. We then took the empty mugs back to our room or just put them in our backpacks. The jugs stayed cold and had a strap to wear on your shoulder.

My real tip would be to take one of the backstage tours. The are great fun and your learn alot about Disney. My favorite was the Backstage safari at the AK. My DH's favorite was the stem train one at MK. The tours are a great way to enjoy the Magic.

My other tip is to join the great people here at this site to learn everything about Disney before you go and then come back and give a trip report so that the rest of us can enjoy the magic until we get a chance to go back to the big house of Mouse:D :D

Okay...here's mine...

What child wouldn't love to have an autographed photo with their favorite Disney character? Unless you can remember to bring the picture back the next year or want to run out to the one-hour photo, its impossible...or is it?

One of our favorite souvenirs is a Wal-Mart brand photo album with a Mickey design all over it. As we visited characters, we had them sign in black sharpie on an empty photo sleeve at the bottom, top or side. NOT IN THE MIDDLE! Then when the pictures came back, we slid them into the corresponding page. WE LOVE IT! :heart

We also love to give our children one disposable camera per trip. Its fun to see what is important to them and their perspective.

The last tip I have is to take your child(ren)s picture next to one landmark annually. We have taken our sons pictures next to the cigar indian on Main Street ever since they first started going. It makes a fun picture when you frame them side-by-side and see how they have grown.

That's all I have now!

I don't know if this tip has been given, because I haven't read all the tips, but if you're going to both MK and Epcot and ending at Epcot, park in Epcot, take the monorail over to MK,and when you come out of MK,take the express monorail over to TTC,because all you have to do when you get off the monorail is walk across the platform to the Epcot monorail. Thisa saves having to go up and down the ramps.

Always go to the left in lines except for Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror. Not sure how true this is but I've found this tip in several different locations so..

Don't forget to soak in the Disney Atmosphere. For me the rides are only one-third of the experience. The other two-thirds are the food and the ATMOSPHERE.

And last... Dole Whips are tasty!!

Re: Whats you best Theme Park Tip ?

Take your time and enjoy yourself. What you don't get to see this year, just gives you an excuse to go down next year.
