Whats you best Theme Park Tip ?

I though asking for everyones best tip might help others out with their vacation plans in the parks.
My tip would be..........well I don't really have one since I am still learning...........execpt, if traveling with a toddler, take your time and go at his/her pace and realize that you won't be able to see as much as you'd like, but, you'll still have a great time if you watch through your childs eyes.

Great Idea Buzz.

My tip would be take breaks!! If your tired, get lunch or a snack, but sit down and relax. If you don't, I think you won't enjoy everything as much. You may get a wee bit cranky from tired feet. So just take a quick break!!

Here is my best tip for a toddler. Buy one of those bottle toppers for water or soda, our DD would NOT drink anything and I was scared she would get dehydrated so we bought a Sorcer Mickey bottle topper with straw at MGM and she drank great the rest of the time. We actually had to buy her her own bottle of water! Best money I ever spent! I saw alot of parents having trouble getting their little ones to drink something. :)

My best tip is to take advantage of Fast Pass and to have some kind of plan for your day ahead of time. You don't have to be a Disney Commando with everything planned out to the last detail because that can backfire too. Just make sure you have at least a mental list of all the things you know you want to see and do and take a look at the park map ahead of time and get an idea of how you are you going to navigate to park to see everything you need to see. You see a lot of people wandering aimlessly through the park, staring at the map - you waste a lot of precious time that way!! You don't want to find yourself criss crossing the park 5 or 6 times to go back and forth between attractions, especially at a big park like EPCOT! You'll wear yourself out that way!!

And if you do have a plan, be flexible with it - everything is NOT going to go exactly the way you planned - if you are flexible you not be as upset when something doesn't happen the way you expected!
:D

Of course, plan ahead, prepare, be flexible. A tip that i love is that when in MK and you want a break, go ride the tommorrowland transit authority (people mover) they don't make you get off because it never really gets crowded and it's better than just sitting still. my kids napped on the thing and I got a great view of tommorrowland while dh rode space mountain

Do not commando tour! It will only frustrate you and causes alot of wasted time. "Stop and smell the roses" watch the live entertainment, it is some of the best anywhere. Take breaks in mid day and return in evening (when park open late). Use FP!

Don't lose site of the great Disney dining experience! One of the things I really enjoy at Disney is trying different places to eat and returning to my favorite spots. It is NOT a place where you'll be forced to eat hamburgers and forgo excellent dining!

My tip is to make sure you only make 1 PS per day. Use the rest of the meals to sample the "fast food" fare that's around. For example, I love having a couple of egg rolls for lunch from the cart in MGM by the Great Movie Ride. And the Fountainview Bakery in EPCOT has flavored lattes & wonderful pastries for breakfast. And then there's always a hot dog at Casey's and Cosmic Ray's floor show in Tomorrowland. (Why do my fondest thoughts always seem to go to food? )

The main tip I would have suggested was already said....PLAN!!

So, I have a few little tips that make life a little easier. Carry a fan/water sprayer during hot months. Always wear sun block. Buy the refillable mug. And take advantage of charging everything to your room card, and sending packages back to your resort. They may seem little reading them here, but when you're hot, ANYTHING HELPS! And when your sunburn, you're miserable, and putting everything on your room card makes your wallet much lighter:laugh and who wants to carry around packages all day???

Let me see....

Go off-season. Visit when the crowds are the lowest. The first week of December or the last week in January are terrific times for a relaxed visit. The weather is mild, and there are no crowds and no lines.

Oh, I have another one...

Linger after the parks close. Don't rush to the exit, you will only be stuck in lines, surrounded by people waiting to leave. Enjoy the lights, the sounds, and a snack...while other people rush to leave. You may even be treated to a special 'good night kiss'!
