hello everyone!!!!
This is my very first post. I have been reading everybodys interesting fun and tips for DISNEY.This is great to see all of you having soooo much fun on your vacations at Disney.And I thought it was only me that has so much fun.I am a mother of 4 and we LOVE Disney.We can't wait to go back next year(maybe Dec. of this year without the kids). I have never seen Disney at Chritmas.Does anyone have any tips or good info on what to expect then.Thanks ,your mousemom!

I am tring to plan one for Dec.I am waiting for my brother to give me the OK that he wants to go.I am really excited about going in Dec. I have never been there for Christmas time.I hear it is awsome.

Welcome to Mouse Buzz formerly know as Disney Central.
Christmas is a wonderful time to visit WDW. (Other than Christmas-New Years week anyway.) From Thanksgiving on everything is decorated with gigantic trees. Temps are cooler - nice during day and light jacket at night. Crowds are lowest of year although Sat & Sun are busier but still not bad. Parades and fireworks are outstanding. Each of the resorts does gingerbread creations and that alone is worth taking an afternoon just to resort (not park) hop. There's Mickey's Very Special Christmas Party (an extra charge event) in MK, and the fireworks are mind boggling! (Beach at POLY also a good place to catch them.) Additionally, there is a BIG choir thing with celeb readers in EPCOT that's pretty cool too. And MGM has the three million Osborne Family light display (with "snow" but don't catch the "flakes" - they are some sort of bubbles - soap?. People watching is great then too. Little kids at WDW are ALWAYS fun to watch but turn Goofey into Santa and that's a real winning combination.

Welcome mousemom! If you like low crowds and don't mind the shorter park hours early Dec. is the best time to go and enjoy all the beautiful Christmas decorations.
