Hello All! Getting ready for our 10th trip - this time we're going to try the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at MK....has anyone gone in recent years? We're hoping Stitch's ride will be among the ones open, as that night will be our only visit to MK during this trip and we haven't gone on that "ride" yet! Does EVERYONE wear a costume????

Oops! Me again...I see the old countdown to our last trip in '05 is still listed at the bottom of my threads....it's been awhile - does anyone know how to get that off there or how to update it? Thanks!

Re: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

The Stitch ride will most likely be open...IMO, not a big deal if you miss it. But since you haven't gone on it yet, give it a shot!

Not everyone wears costumes, but it's fun if you do!!

For the countdown, go to "User CP" and take the text out of your signature.
There is a new place where you can enter a new countdown just by inserting your dates...no need for codes anymore!

Have a great trip!!!

Stitch (should) be open.

Costume almost every child has one on, adults it really depends on the night you go. I wear a costume just because I love to dress up. You will have a blast whether in costume or not!

Re: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Hello there. I went to MNSSHP last year and am going again this year. To answer one of your questions, no not everyone wears costumes..I'd say about half of the people or less. I don't recall if stitch was open because I didn't go on it, but I am certain all the attractions are open for this event (all the ones I noticed anyway)

The parties are really amazing. Highly encourage you to dress in a costume if you got one. Tonight's the first party, but it's getting ready to rain big time here. Sure hope it doesn't put a damper on the event.

Re: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

We went last year and took a costume for DS, but he refused to wear it. Can't blame him though...it was hot and his costume was a plush Mickey one. Anyway, there were people in costume, but I'd have to say way less than half. You get plenty of candy even without the costume! Didn't make it to Tomorrowland 'cause Fantasyland was much more our speed with a 2 yo, but I think Stitch was open. We stayed until closing and got to catch a few more rides as they were getting people out.

Re: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Your going to love it, when I last went there were quite a few people in costumes, mostly kids but some adults had amazing costumes. The characters are all dressed up to so you get some great pictures and the parade is fantastic, dont miss the headless horseman!

I can't remember if we did Stitch on a EMH or on the MNSSHP but it was fun and pretty much all the rides are open so Its bound to be.

Re: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

We kicked off the celebration last night. From what I could see in Tomorrowland, IT IS AWESOME. I want to go on one of my nights off. Not everyone was dressed up in costumes. All of the attractions will be up and running (with the exception of Hall of Presidents and Carousel of Progress). You really need to go on the Haunted Mansion, because the cast members went all out and really dressed up for their roles. Then is the best time to see the villians. The parade is awesome (one float especially, but I don't want to spoil it for you. Go see it!!) See the parade and Hallowishes fireworks. Also if you just happen to be in Tomorrowland, come by and say hi!

Re: Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Ok...I figured out how to edit my signature so it's accurate, but how do I add a "Disney Countdown" to my next trip??? Help!
