Ticket Upgrade Questions
We're going down to WDW in 2 weeks.... Family of five... one under three...so we're of course not needing tix for him...
Last year our daughter was under 3...so we have no leftover tix for her; but my son, my husband and I all have 3 non-expiring hopper passes left, along with 4 "plus" options... For the upcoming trip, we've purchased a package with 3 days worth of base MYW tickets... for each of us... we'll need to get additional passes for my daughter to = what the rest of us have.... Can I buy an additional 3-day hopper pass for my daughter? Will it come with any plus options? Should I just upgrade the tickets my husband and I have for an annual pass (we will go next year)... Can I combine last year's (2005) leftover MYW tix (non expiring) and this years base tix toward the purchase of Annual Passes? Can anyone help me figure out what makes the most sense financially? I'm not sure where to start on figuring this out!!! Any advice would be appreciated!!!!

Re: Ticket Upgrade Questions
After reading your post several times, I have a headache now.
When in doubt get a season pass. I'd call Disney and ask them. They should be able to check your remaining value and then let you know what the upgrade cost. Might I also suggest you consider Disney Vacation Club. As much as you go the per night rate is far better than what you can get (and that considers both the purchase price AND annual fee) PLUS you get nice accomidations with kitchens. AND discount on annual passes.

Re: Ticket Upgrade Questions
If you are going next year again, it makes sense to take the passes you have and make them AP's. I am not certain what they do with the plus options you have left over however.

Re: Ticket Upgrade Questions
You pay more for the plus options so you'd get a higher credit towards passes.
And I STILL have my headache. May have something to do with the weather instead of the post. ![]()

Re: Ticket Upgrade Questions
My only experience with this was when we renewed our passes in September. We have APs, but in order to get the free dining, you had to buy one day's ticket per person to qualify. We stayed in two hotels, resulting in two reservations and a total of 4 unused one day MYWs. We were able to credit two tickets to each of our renewals, reducing the cost by about $120 per AP.
I hope this helps. It does make sense that all unused "plus options" on your current tickets will nicely bump whatever credit you do get.
