Park hopper Passes?

I was just wondering something. The trip to DW that my DH and I are taking in July included our park tickets since we are staying at the Polynesian. Now we are going to FL in May (staying with friends in their condo) and we were wondering if it was better to buy our hopper passes before we left at the Disney Store or if we should just wait until we get down there and buy them then? Thanks

My suggestion is that you should look at getting an annual pass. I am not sure I understand the logic about the Poly including passes. There is no reason you can't book that room only and then buy an Ap for both trips. That way you can go back in the next 12 months and your passes will be paid for. Not to mention that your AP will get you a great discount on the Poly room.

If you are going to stick with the hopper passes, buy them before you arrive, they are cheaper.

We started looking at how much the 8 day ultimate park hopper tickets cost and realized they were the same price as the annual pass. Granted we won't have access to the water parks, or Disney Quest, but we NEVER go there anyway. So we don't need to pay extra for something we aren't using.

So, with this additional savings, and only using 55 points for 5 nights at BWV, we get to go back in March 2004 for a very inexpensive trip!! Yeah!!

And like Mickey said. You can get a discount on your hotel room if you purchase an annual pass. It's a win win situation!!

I'm going to echo everyone else and say BUY THE ANNUAL PASS!! It gives you a great excuse to come back before the year is over.

Annual passes are the best. The best thing about them , are the rates you get on rooms. So much better, than the Disney Club rates or even the codes that come out.
It's just the waiting for the Annual Pass rates to become available. We have our Reserv. made, but the rates are only available up to April 9th. Sure hope they change the dates , soon!!!:nervous JOANN

I bet if the war drags on much longer, there will be really good codes and discounts to come out to entice people to come to Disney.

Thanks for all the help. I will look into the annual passes. I think that you can purchase them at the Disney Store right? I have a funny feeling that my DH and I will be going to Disney alot more (I hope) so the annual passes will well be worth it.

When we booked the trip we included everything buthe airfare. The package included staying at the Poly, park hooper passes etc. I didnt even think about the AP becuase I thought that since we were only going once this year it didnt make sense. But now that we are going again it is worth it. THANKS :)
