We may be planning another trip sooner then we thought........

and I was wondering if anyone knows of any special promotions that may be going on to help cut our costs.

We would be arriving anywhere between Feb.10 to Mar.01 2007 and staying for either 6 or seven days (haven't decided yet)

Any info would be greatly appreciated. It was future DH's idea. (I think I have turned him inot an addict like me after just one trip!)

I'm not sure about staying on site.

But I have found that Priceline is usually a good deal to reduce costs. Both airfare, hotel rooms and Car rentals.

But I am sure there are the serious WDW types who know a lot more..

Discounts for then haven't come out yet- they'll probably wait until the Sept 30 deadline for the oct-dec MYW special to run out.

I may look into priceline for the airfare because it was really the airfare I had a problem with the price of. The airfare was almost as much as the room at POP and the seven day tickets (I'm talking by only a few dollars). The airfare DOUBLED our price of the trip once I added it on!

I don't know if us airs is an option for you, but I just priced airfare for a coworker for $118 roundtrip for them...that is the cheapest price I have seen in a very long time. Priceline is only cheaper than the actual airline's website when you are booking multiple things. When getting airfare only, always go to the airlines webite and use the promotions tab. I research airfare for months before purchasing it and priceline is always a few dollars or many more dollars more than the actual airlines's price. This is only different when you use the choose your own price option from priceline. Only probelm is you fly when they say so and I just can't have that...I like to be in orlando on the first flight in and leave on the first flight out...lord knows what times they would choose for me.

Thanks Dana for the tip on going to the airline website. I went to Delta's site and they quoted me $162 per person round trip. I can deal with that. With taxes added and for the two of us it comes to $362.20. That's certainly a lot better then over $1000! That is just too outrageous to me. Almost made me consider driving just in order to be able to afford going. Time is crunched for this trip cause I don't have that many vacation days left over, and I really didn't want to take time away by driving. Now it doesn't look like we will have to.

I will let Jason know what I found in the morning (he's already asleep) and see what he says. He had a bad experience flying for his first time in Sept. (see TR), and he didn't even want to drive cause it takes too much time. About 12 to 14 hours from where we are.

Looks like grand total will be around $1400 again like last time. I think if that is the case, we can swing it!

Woo hoo! I am so excited.

Looks like I may get to change my countdown and drastically shorten it!
