annual pass

Just wondering if buying an annual pass what discounts do you get? At what resorts do they offer discounts and how much off the price. Any meal discounts??
Thanks
Jess

Having an AP, the discounts are one of the best deals you could get. Yes, they also have discounts on some of the restaurants.
When they become available, you should call right away, and make sure the resort you want will be available for that special AP Rate.
I did get a great rate with one of the codes that are out right now, but I'm still waiting for the APR to comes out for May. As of right now they are only good thru April 9th. Patience is a Virtue, but mine are wearing at my nerves right now. I'm hoping in the next week or so, they should become available. :nervous :nervous .
I do check quite a bit. Because with Disney they change things quite quickely!!!! :) JOANN

Jessie, if you go to the official Disney website, there is a list of benefits. Also Mousesavers gives quite a bit of info on how you really save with an AP. Have fun!:)

Jessie,
We wouldn't be w/o an AP, but opted for the Resident seasonal, as we never go during black out periods anyway. You do get discount at some restaurants etc., but we dine there so often, we opted to join the dining experience, for us it was well worth the $55. Even with the cost, we have still saved $, and you can use it at almost every restaurant, including some of the fast food joints, which is really nice. I believe we receive 20% off the total bill, and it's good for a party of up to six. There are other discounts for AP holders, as some one mentioned earlier, go to their website for specifics.

Cheryl, I have a friend who lives in Orlando, and goes four to five times a week, has been doing it for years. She says you only loose the magic if you want to. :D

OOOOH!!!! Wouldn't that be neat! He could move up to Corporate, and you could go work at Disney!! :D :D

DH's company was based in Boca Raton, and his boss frequently says he wants to move back south, but his wife's family is from around here. I'm holding out a tiny shard of hope... :D

How much does an Annual Pass cost? Do you have to live in Florida to get one? What other discounts are you entitled to? Thanks for the info...

People who don't live in Florida can purchase annual passes, but Florida residents get a special discounted rate. One of the discounts you are entitled to is a 10 percent discount at World of Disney. Do all your souvenir shopping there!!!

Does anyone know how much the AP costs? How many times do you have to go to Disney to make it worth while? Just checking to see if it's better to get the AP or use traditional hoppers...THANKS FOR ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE ME!

As someone who also lives in Orlando, MickeyMac's friend is absolutely right when they say you only lose the magic if you want to. We've been using our annual passes for years and never get tired of going.

It's wonderful to be able to go whenever the mood strikes you and not worry about planning an itinerary. We often go just to see the fireworks or to eat in a particular restaurant. And having APs is great when friends or relatives visit because the park is the first place they all want to go.
