Great Movie Ride...Who's right??
www.wdwig.com has it posted that The Great Movie Ride will be closed until mid-late June for refurbishment.
www.disneyworld.com has it posted that it will be closed until mid-late April. Who's right?? Deb's site has been saying mid-april for 2 months now. Just in the last few days has it changed. I'm HOPING that it won't be closed. My mom can't ride a lot of the bumpy and big thrill rides because of health reasons, and she and my Dad love the Great Movie Ride. I'll keep hoping......let me know if you hear who's right!

Honestly, I'd have to go with disneyworld.com since they kinda are the official site. I hope it all works out for ya!

I agree with Michael but thougt maybe Deb is just more on top of updates. :hmmm I guess only time will tell.
MichaelDarling... Did you go to DL?? Your countdow reads on my way to CA. I've been sick for about a month and just getting back in the swing of things. I'm not caught up on reading posts yet so sorry if I missed your trip report. |

Well, just went to disneyworld.com and they FINALLY updated their info for the Great Movie Ride. They will be closed until June 29, 2003:cry: :cry: . Maybe since they are extending the refurb date by 2 months they are adding some new movies to it??? Any thoughts on that?
Deb had the inside info on that one....she was right!!

i heard from a CM that the great movie ride will be closed during june. :\ it closed a couple of days into my vacation and i didnt get to ride it.

This is a real disappointment for me, because this is one of my favorite attractions. :nooo:
