Mouse Ears
So... where in the World are they still sewing the names onto Mouse Ears by hand?
Last year they were by hand in the hat shop at the beginning of Main Street, and the ears I saw from MGM were done by computer. Anyone know about other places? I want to get mouse ears for DS5 first thing, but the name has to be done by hand!, and I'm hoping not to go into the MK.

I saw ladies personalising things in the Christmas shop at DTD but I dont know if it included Mouse Ears I think it may have been just ornaments.

As for personalization of Christmas ornaments, now that we're into the holiday season, you should expect a 24-48 hour turnaround time at MK and a 2-3 day turnaround at DTD. They will direct ship to your house (or also ship to your room if you're there that long)

However, even though it's a machine, the MK shop (Le Chapeau) still uses the hand driven stitching machine, if I am not mistaken. At least it was last October when we went. And Christmas Ornament personalization could take even LONGER than 48 hours! I found this out the hard way...I bought my ornament 3 days before we were leaving and they couldn't do it in time. They had to ship it to my house. And then when it got there, it came broken. Luckily they sent out a replacement right away. They're good about that!

The hand driven thing, of course, the ones that makes a horribly loud pounding noise but gives the names a personal touch. The ears I saw from MGM were precise and all computerized. Not what I'm looking for!

They also personalize at the 5 & 10 in MGM. Same place they do the GoH badges.

The no nicknames is still enforced. I know Drew said he had a hard time convincing them that Drew really was his name. They kept insisting it was a nickname. So they are quite picky about what's acceptable for stitching.
