Ticket question

I picked up all my travel documents yesterday from AAA. Everything looks in order on the itenery. There are vouchers for the magical empress transfer etc. The only thing that isn't there is the tickets for WDW. It is listed on the summary, and my travel agent says I will get my tickets at the resort. I know they somehow attach them to your room key. Is this the normal procedure? On my last trip 1990 I stayed off site and it took one full day for the Days Inn to locate my paper tickets. They were in their safe and were misplaced. It totally sucked because we were only there for 4 days. I really don't want a repeat of that with my 4 kids and DH.

Re: Ticket question

I don't think you need to worry. With a package, your room key really is EVERYTHING! The fact that your tickets are listed on the summary says to me that they're taken care of.

Even if your room isn't ready when you get there, you'll get the key card so you can go to the parks if you want to.

You'll be fine!

I hope I get my package in the mail soon! (It's still a little early, but I can dream!)

Re: Ticket question

It's a neat process when your room isn't ready. They give you a "key" which is actually like a credit card. This "key" is your room-key and your park admission. It can also be linked to an actual credit card for purchases on Disney property.

They print up your "keys" and they give you a number to call later in the day. They keep your bags in the bell closet. During the day, you can call the number to get your room status/information.

When you go back to your resort, your bags are already in your room!!!

HAVE a GREAT TIME!!!

As I'm reading this, I keep thinking "Disney Magic, Disney Magic, Disney Magic." Where else are you going to get such great service?

I bought a package through disney a few years ago and that's exactly what I received. I got a bookl with papers for all the aspects of my trip. I got my tickets/room key at check in. Take your documents and make copies of everything and put the copies in your luggage. You never know what could happen.

Re: Ticket question

Thanks for reminding me to copy all the documents! I lost my family's 3-day hopper at DL and I was out of luck! On our last trip I copied everything. Our trip went off without a hitch! So I will pull my documents out of our safe and copy them. I am sooooo excited!
