One Day / One Park Ticket ?

Hi

I was wondering if there is anywhere to purchase a some 1-day / 1-park tickets ahead of time?
I already called the Disney store and Disney with no luck. I just like to have as much paid for ahead of time as possible. Our flight schedule changed and we need to plan for a little more park time, yet I don't think we need another "hopper" day, I'm sure we'll do fine with one park.

Thanks in advance!!

As far as I know, you can only purchase them at the gate.

Dab is correct. What is your current ticket situation, that might help us give you a better answer?

Thanks! Right now we have 5-day hoppers. But since our flight changes we will arrive much earlier 9:30 am , and depart much later 6pm.
So, we can do without the parks on the two travel days, but would like to be able to do at least one park on that 6th odd day.

If you have your Hopper Passes already, once you get there and decide to to stay an extra day, asked on the last day of your hopper pass if you can extend the pass an extra day, you should be able to get a reduced price for the extra day without having to pay for a one day park pass, this way you can hop to all the parks instead of staying in just one park. I done it a couple of time before getting annual passes. It save us about 10 dollars on each pass.

I like to get most of the spending out of the way before i go too, so then it's all about the food and soveneirs (sp?)...so what i've done in the past is buy Disney Dollars at the Disney Store and then use them when you get to the park! so then it's kind of like you bought the tickets before leaving home...

You can go to EBAY to buy one day, one park tickets...and much cheaper than at Disney World! But the best overall value is the park hopper...you get so much more for your money! Even if you don't use all the days now, if you plan to go back any time in the near future, it's worth it to get, since they don't expire. :)

iluvwdw, welcome to DisneyCentral. Please, please, please don't every purchase Disney park passes on eBay or any other auction site. There is no way to confirm what you are purchasing prior to actually arriving at WDW. You are just taking too big of a chance to ever make it worth it.

Other than that, I do agree with you on the park hoppers, they are a great way to go, even if you are only planning on two days, your extra days never expire, so you can use them your next time down.

Hi Mickey, thanks for the reply! I see your point about Ebay and you are right...but I bought tickets last year and they were perfect. I actually found the guy who was located in Orlando and went to his place of business when we got there, and bought another pass directly from him while we were there! (my little brother came on the trip and we didn't have a ticket for him) But I understand what you are saying BEWARE of buying tickets on EBAY. Make sure the seller has great ratings...because you're right...you NEVER know!!!:)

We always spend our arrival day outside the parks doing mostly free and out of the main parks side stuff. It tends to build the excitement and gets you better acclimated for the weather conditions.

This can save trouble in over or under dressing or wearing the wrong shoes etc...and in keeping better prepared for the parks the following days; if any ticket exchanges or entry tickets are needed we take the monorail tour to MK and simply purchase what we need. I mention exchanges because our old world hoppers were so old they couldn't be used in the new systems.

But I was able to purchase any and all tickets for the parks at check in at any Disney Resort. So, between the service desk at check in and the enjoyable monorail visit to the MK, you should be able to get everything you need done effortlessly.
