Osborne Lights

Are the Osborne Lights an ongoing walk through, or do they have dedicated "shows" at various times??

Thanks.

Re: Osborne Lights

They're on all the time. Well, all night. I don't know if there are any special "shows" in addition to that, but I don't think so.

Re: Osborne Lights

Yes, the only "show" is turning the switch ON every night. People all stand around waiting for it and they make a bit of a show out of it. But other than that, it's just a walk through to see it all.

And this year, they've added some shimmer and movement to the lights.

Yep they are a walk through. If I was you I would wait awhile after they are turned on, until it is almost time for the park to close. Not nearly as many people are there then.

Excellent tip. (And another VA MBer!)

The only thing you'll miss is bubbles, I mean snow, falling on you and getting you all stickey. It it NOT worth the crowds.

Take advantage and hit the low crowds and hit a few rides then walk through.

I liked it better when it was on the backlot street. Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING wrapped in lights. Now it's tons of lights but just not as cool stinging down.

I don't believe that the show is done every night. We saw the show a couple of years ago and it was great! It's a lot of fun and if you know that they're doing the show, it IS worth the crowd.

Other than that, I'd agree that it's better to wait for the crowds to die down.

Re: Osborne Lights

Anybody have any pictures of the lights? I've never been to WDW during the holidays.

Re: Osborne Lights

I saw the lights tonight and they were really beautiful. Every so many minutes the lights would start dancing to the music, and it was beautful. I also really like the snow effect. It is really worth seeing.

I know the show started at 10 mins before 6pm last week. Big build-up and then they go on. The snow starts, music and then the lights dance to the music for a few minutes every 10 to 15 mins or so.
