Booking for Hoop-De-Doo?

I just tried to book the HDD for our Oct. '07 trip because I read that you could do that a year in advance, and the CM told me that booking for this show was now 180 days out. Has anyone else gotten this info. from booking? thanks

Wow, I was still under the impression that dinner shows could be booked TWO years out!

I guess I'm pretty behind on the times.

The CM was right, the booking rules for HDD changed a few months ago.

I believe they also changed the pricing, based on seating location (tiered)

I had to wait until 180 days out to book HDD. They have changed to tiered sections. If you plan to use the dining plan you must be in section 2 (On the bottom level but behind level one or the center of the balcony) or section 3 (which I believe is all on the balcony).

Gee, they didn't tell me what section I was in when I booked our HDDR dinner for December. Nor did they tell me when we went last summer.

Is that automatic now?

I am not sure when this policy began. It may take effect for January. That is when we are going. Each section is also a different price. Section 1 is most expensive.

I still think that's so silly that you can only be on Tier 2 or 3 with the dining plan. The difference in price is absolutely miniscule...and for heaven's sake, you're already using 2 DDP options! It more than covers the cost of the Hoop-De-Doo if you had paid for it by itself...even if you were in Tier 1.

Oh well...

I do believe you were allowed to book through 12/31/06 under the former reservation policy, but for all dates after, HDD would be under the 180 day umbrella. I really don't like the idea of the tier program either-so I'm totally excited that we'll get to see it next month, and I made my reservation almost 11 months ago, so I hope to have good seats.
