Osbourne Lights: Snowflake glasses.

Just out of curiosity, I think MGM CMs stopped giving out the snowflake glasses for Osbourne Light viewing more than several years ago. So, am I the ONLY weirdo who saved them and brings them on every trip that I know I will be seeing the Osbourne Lights? I guess its weird enough that DH and I are the ONLY ones now walking around the Osbourne display with paper 3-D glasses, but it might be even weirder that I saved them from approx. 4 years ago.

Anyway, I am packing them for Thanksgiving 'cause we are planning on viewing the display when we go for one day on the 24th.

Am I the ONLY one who saved these glasses? Does anyone remember them?

PS: for anyone who may have never saw/heard of these they are AWESOME paper 3-D glasses that turn ALL points of light into big snowflakes. So when you walk through the Osbourne Light display it's like walking through a 3-D world of fluffy snowflakes. THEY ROCK!!!

Last year DH and I even pulled them out and stared at our Christmas tree for a little while (and NO, there were absolutely no drugs involved

The part about you saving them = funny.

Then, I kept reading and I got a mental image of you and D sitting on your couch - heads tilted - with matching paper 3D glasses on - and THAT was FUNNY! ROFL!

Count me in your little group. We have saved ours not once , but from multiple trips. Of course finding where we packed them away in order to take them with us would be another story!

We still have ours from our 1998 trip. And what's so strange about bringing them out every Christmas? I think that's perfectly normal.

Yes, we have many pairs of glasses (never throw anything away!) and we do bring them with us if we are there this time of the year. We were there in Oct. this year and didn't get to use them but plan to be there in Nov. 2007!!!

Does anyone know what year they STOPPED distributing them, my guess was '03, but I could easily be wrong.

I save everything from disney so I don't you are weird for saving them, I even have napkins at home with Mickey on them from Disney, LOL!

Did they give them out years ago? We went to see the Osbourne Lights this past year for the first time and they didn't give any out.

I believe they STOPPED giving them out sometime around '02-'03. It's a shame really cause it makes the Osborne Light Dislay so much more exciting and cool.
