Dress Codes at WDW
When we go on our trip next April we have 5 friends of ours going with us. One of our friends, who i really like, has a tattoo on his calf that is of a woman, with her chest showing. I have asked him to consider covering it up some how. I am not sure if he will or not.
So my question is, if he doesn't cover it up, will it be a problem in the parks? Thanks!

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
it might be..... i know that if it were, let's say a t-shirt with the same content, they wouldn't let him in the park. it all depends on if a CM takes notice of the tattoo.

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
I happen to LOVE all the parts of women but considering the family nature of the parks that is a reasonable request.
They don't allow nudity so I think pictures of nudity no matter how displayed would not be appreciated or allowed.

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
hhmmmm I can't imagine a CM letting him enter the parks if the tattoo was to be seen....is it really noticable?
Each to their own an all that but there is a time and place for that kind of 'picture' to be on display....no? Have you suggested those 'long lenth' cut off trousers? He might object to having to shell out for new ones if he doesn't own any already. Tough call. ![]()

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
My suggestion to him was to maybe make a bakini top some how to cover that part up. I will pass on to him your thoughts.
Thanks

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
Can you picture a CM denying him entrance? Especially when you consider many CM's are college students working for minimum wage who really wouldn't want to be bothered getting involved in all that.
My guess is that he'll have no problems at all.

I tend to agree. Most CM's are so busy they dont have time to notice. Also, It is a delivate situation and most CM's wouldnt want to get involved. I def. think that others would be more comfortable with it covered, but I suspect Disney wont step in. |

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
If it's in a really noticable area, just see if he'll put a band-aid over it. Either the regular size ones, or one of the larger square ones.
I can understand denying entrance to someone with that on their shirt - as that's in an area guaranteed to be seen, but the legs... eh....

I think this is an excellent idea. I think getting a temporary tatoo of a bikini top to cover it would work well and all would be back to the way he wanted it by the time the trip was over.

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
He might want to try a sharpie pen. It will eventually come off and won't wash off during the trip...and you can get one for like 99 cents.

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
I think it depends on how big it is. If it's really big and noticeable, then he runs the chance of someone complaining. I can't imagine a CM would be checking anyone's lower legs due to the crowds, but you can bet some parent somewhere would notice it.
I think the band aid idea is great.

Re: Dress Codes at WDW
I love the Sharpie idea! Surely he wouldn't be too opposed to that! I agree that CM's probably won't notice or say anything if they do, but some parent might. Easier to draw on a bikini with a Sharpie beforehand than to have someone make a scene and have to deal with it then.
