Star Wars Weekend 2007

Has Disney announced the dates for Star Wars Weekend for 2007? I am thinking about taking DS for the weekend (he is a huge Star Wars fan), but I can't seem to find the dates.

How old is your DS? My 8 year old had a blast seeing all the Star Wars stuff last year.

Re: Star Wars Weekend 2007

Is it starting definitely the 18th because I saw on All Ears that it was the
19th of May and we are leaving that night. If it is starting on the 18th of May, I will definitely plan MGM for Fri instead of Sat morning.

My DS will be 12 next week. He has been watching Star Wars since he was 3. I think I own everything there is Star Wars. I am not sure what they exactly due for Star Wars Weekend but I know he will love it. We have to ride Star Tours at least 20 times a trip.

It sounds like this is a not to miss event for him. He's going to have a blast meeting all the characters and you are going to enjoy watching him.

Re: Star Wars Weekend 2007

Do they have special events for this, or is it just a meet the characters thing??? I am really new to Star Wars Weekend. ANd do you know how buzy it gets during Saturdays's (that is the only day we can go. I do not want my DS missing more school, as he is missing 5 days next week. We are taking him to Disney for his birthday).

Here's the activities tied to last year's events:

Can you provide the link to where you found the dates? I just did a search on AllEars and could only find the info for 2006.

Funny thing is I was just talking with Disney reservations on Saturday and the CM told me that the dates had not yet been set for 2006 but that it runs every weekend in May and the first two in June. I guess she didn't know what she was talking about.

Thanks!
Kathy

I've often booked a trip with WDW, where the CM gave me wrong info. When I get a CM who doesn't seem to know as much as the folks at MB. I politely hang up and call back to get a new CM.

I think that's true for everything about WDW. My boys certainly are not into princesses, but the enjoy the character meals as much as DD.
