I have come to notice by talking to more and more people, that I have a theory that the Disney magic is a "lifestyle" .When talking to those who enjoy Disneyworld,they can talk for hours about it,and have a sparkle in thier smile and a glow to them. But talking to those who couldn't care less, they are usually dull boring people with no imagination.And just dont "get it" . They dont understand what we Disney lovers get out of Disneyworld.Kinda like in the Robin Williams movie "hook" when he didnt believe,so there was no food in front of him, but when he let himself belive there was a huge feast in front of him.I'm so glad I "Believe" . Theres nothing in life compared to the way I felt the first time I walked into magic kingdom and saw that magnificent castle.Or seeing Epcot and experiencing all the countries ! I could go on for hours.Im just glad that I found this website to share my excitement with you fine folk ! P.S. I sometime go to disneyparks.com just to listen to the opening music,like on the commercials HA HA HA !

You're exactly right. You either are into it 100% or it's just another theme park. My friends just don't get it...they don't understand how I will get the cheapest thing on the menu when I go out to eat...because that's another buck or two for my Disney fund.

I like my lifestyle more though ;)

I think you are absolutely right about the lifestyle thing. When I was a CM, I had to work hard to keep the Magic alive because I was surrounded by CMs (and guests) who couldn't care less.

I was consistently made fun of for using "themed phrases", adhering 110% to the "Disney Look" dress code, and that type of thing, but the Magic means that much to me. I didn't care what other people thought...and when I could make a TRUE Disney fan's day, all that hard work and persecution was worth it!

Too true, I have to actually stop myself from talking too much about how much and what I love about Disney. After a while some people just and that's the sign that I need to stop.

I hear ya. We're trying to talk my wife's parents into going with us next December, but they dont seem interested. They've never been to any theme park, so i figured they ought to try the best. But no such luck. I ordered the DVD planning guide,maybe it will spark them a little bit.

Aw if the DVD can't get someone to sway in their opinion just a *little* bit, then they're truly coldhearted people! Those DVDs just give me the warm fuzzies...

Way of life here!! Need to bring more of that into my life actually -- we have area music and such but don't play it often enough, recipes but don't cook them, etc.

Interestingly I have been finding myself making the bathroom cleaner every day by remembering how nice it was when we got back to the room at Disney and everything was neat and clean. Minor, but every little bit helps.

It's definitely a way of life for us. As I was packing up some stuff, I realized there was tons of 'peices' of Disney in every room. The people who bought our house musta thought we were nuts!!

hey,

at dinner last night, they asked ' how long to go till WDW" , I gushed " 19 sleeps and counting &......."....and they just glazed over......so i then shut up.

You either love it or dont, there's no in between........

cant wait to be amongst my own kind!
