You have to show your driver license at checkin...not sure about park tickets because we have AP's.

Hope that helps...

I haven't been a Florida resident since '03 but when I used to order the florida res. discounted tickets I would get a voucher in the mail, then I had to show my Florida driver's license to redeem the voucher for the real tickets upon arrival.

Re: Kippage, Erin, any other Floridians?~FL resident ticket discounts?!

i understand that i have to show FL resident ID at check in, but curious how they handle that when purchasing tickets online. i want to buy them now online through WDW.com, but not sure if they will send actual FL resident discounted tickets or a voucher or what.

~~~edited after it posted because i see Wish's post. :)
so is it worth it to go ahead and purchase now for 2007, thinking it would help avoid a price increase. or should i just wait and buy the tickets there at checkin and have them added to our room key?
i JUST BOUGHT THEM!!! they or a voucher will be here by Dec.3!!
i am sooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!
i am printing out all my confirmation info. as i type right now!! (yippi!!)
i might just call the (407) customer service number listed and ask what i can expect in the mail tickets or voucher...but really now that i think about ti, it doesn't much matter since i am going to have them transfered to my room key either way.
thanks for your help :)
Chottsy, when I ordered our SP online earlier this year, I printed out the confirmation # and presented that as well as my driver license at will call at MK and they issued our passes.
They will definitely need a Florida ID in order to give you the resident rate.
Happy travelling :-)
Re: Kippage, Erin, any other Floridians?~FL resident ticket discounts?!
never could get through on the (407) number, but sent an email to the ticket services, below is their response:
Thank you for your email.
You will receive exchange certificates in the mail.
Proof of Florida Residency is...
1) VALID Florida Drivers License
2) VALID Florida State issued ID card (MUST have Florida address)
3) VALID Voters Registration Card with corresponding picture ID
4) VALID Florida Based Military ID - List of Florida Military Bases
5) VALID College ID (MUST be a Florida college)
Each adult in the party is required to have a Florida ID.
Florida Resident tickets are only available to actual Florida Residents
and can not be purchased for out of state family or friends.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Disney
Reservation Center directly at guest.mail@wdw.disneyonline.com or by
calling 407-W-DISNEY.
Thank you and we hope to see you soon!
How big are Florida discounts? Major or just a few bucks?
Re: Kippage, Erin, any other Floridians?~FL resident ticket discounts?!
we purchase 2 adult and 1 child ~ 3 day (1 park per day) passes...with $3 shipping the total was $365.10.
~basically you get 3 days for the reg. price of 2.
~~follow-up....
we got our "exchange certificates" in the mail yesterday!!!!!!!
they are neon green credidt cards. they are attached to teh back of the paper with our ressie number and all our ordering info.
just have to take the cards to teh ressie counter when we check in the resort and present our FL driver's lisence and have the passes put on our room keys!
on the fron of the cards it tells you where all you can redeem them. (park entrances or resort)
