[Pooh Fan]

Last night DD went home with family that had spent the week here, so I was finally able to hammer out some plans for our upcoming December trip. I was getting nervouse because I have never not planned until this close before our trip. Our plans are very loose this trip so that once we get there the kids will have a say in what we do. I just can't wait to surprise them. While the looks on their face will be priceless, I miss planning with them because they get just as excited about our trips as I do--unlike DH who never gets excited until we get there. Tell me what you think...

Dec. 14th--Arrive at 10 PM and pick up the rental car. Head to Pop Century. Obviously we have nothing planned, except for getting a good night's sleep.

Dec. 15th--MK in the AM. Lunch at Beaches and Cream (a family tradition) and then whatever we want to do for the rest of the day.

Dec. 16th--Check out of Pop and into Beach Club Villas. Then, head over to MGM for the day. We have 4:30 dinner reservations at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Package. After Fantasmic, we may head back to Beach Club and pick up the car to hit EMH at MK for a few hours. We will see how tired we are.

Dec. 17th--We have 8 AM breakfast reservations for Donald's Breakfastosaurus. After breakfast, we will enjoy AK as long as we want. We usually rush through this park to be finished by lunch time. I would like to try one of the CS places there--wither Flame Tree BBQ or Tusker House. Then, I am thinking about heading back to the hotel to enjoy Stormalong Bay depending on the weather. If it is too cold then we may head to Epcot for a while. We have dinner reservations at CP at 7:30.

Dec. 18th--We will be going to MVMCP tonight, so we will be relaxing for a lot of the day. We will probably play a round on miniature golf, spend some time at DQ and/or enjoy the pool depending on the weather. We have dinner reservations at LTT at 5:10.

Dec. 19th--This is our Epcot day. We plan to stay here as long as we want. This is DD's favorite park and we can spend hours in the 2 Innoventions places not to mention everything else. We have 7 PM dinner reservations at Ohana.

Dec 20th--This is our best of day. We will have breakfast at CP (another family tradition) and spend a few hours at MK hitting all of our favoritets. then, we will hop to Epcot for a few rides on Soarin, MS and TT. Next, we plan on hopping over to MGM for a few rides on TOT and TT. When we are done there, we will head over to AK in hopes of riding EE one more time and of course Primevil Whirl. By then, it will be time to have our tradition farewell to Disney dinner at CM at 7:10.

Dec. 21st--We will check out of Beach Club and head over to Universal. We will check into the HRH and enjoy the parks for a few hours there. At some point in the day, we will return the rental car at the Alamo rental desk at the Sheratan Hotel. We will have our traditional early dinner at Margaritaville and then either relax in the room or spend a few hours in the park. Once we hit Universal, we really slow down and relax.

Dec. 21st-26th--This is our time at Universal Studios. We hit the parks for a few hours using the FOTL we get with our room key and then we head back to the hotel to enjoy the pool, nap, etc.

Dec. 26th--We have a 6 AM flight home thanks to Continental changing our flight time. I am trying to look on the bright side and saying that we will be home early so that DH won't be so tired when he returns to work on the 27th, but it is very hard. I have been fighting with Continental ever since I found out that they had changed our flight time from 3 PM to 6AM. They did not even notify us of the change. I noticed it when I went online to check on our reservation. I have been trying to get them to change us to a later flight, but they are supposedly sold out and they could not get us out until the 27th if we did not stay with the 6AM flight on the 26th. The 27th won't work because DH has to go back to work on the 27th. Oh well.

That is our trip. What do you think? This was supposed to be a budget trip because it was shorter than the last one. It is actually costing us more than the month long trip we took last year. I just could not bring myself to stay at a value for the entire trip this year after what happened last year at AS Movies. I am hoping that I will enjoy POP this trip and we might consider going back there. Then, again, I may be so spoiled by the BCV that I will only want to stay in a Deluxe from now on. We will see.

What a wonderful, long relaxing trip you have planned!!!

I think it looks great. BCV looks awesome, I'd be afraid I'd never want to stay anywhere else at WDW again, lol. I hope this trip goes smoothly for you!

OMG it sounds soo great have a Magical time!! Pleeeeaaaasssse ride Men in Black at Universal for me and my family!! My DS especially loves that ride at Universal! Enjoy your Christmas trip!
