Holiday fireworks questions

There are season specific versions of Illuminations and Wishes, respectively Illuminations:Peace on Earth and Holiday Wishes. Now, I'm sure Holiday Wishes is performed during the Christmas Party nights, and I know it will run at 8:30 New Year's Eve and I know Peace on Earth runs at 7:30 on New Year's Eve. My question is this: does anyone know of any other nights these shows will be performed? Do they perform Illuminations PoE every night from now to Christmas and when besides the Christmas Party will they perform Holiday Wishes. I'm curious because from October 21 through Halloween, they ran Happy HalloWishes every night, regardless of Halloween Party or not.

While we're at it, has anyone heard anything more about lluminations:Skydance?

Re: Holiday fireworks questions

Nothing on Skydance from my sources. But if it's anything like it was last year, the PoE part of Illuminations will be happening every night starting next week. I'm assuming they're doing the Holiday Wishes every night as well starting the week of Christmas and beyond regardless of party (except for the perimeter fireworks. That's the party only).

This is similar to what MK did for Halloween. The Sat. Oct 21 performance was lacking the perimeter bursts, but if you looked directly at the castle, it wasn't missed. The best place to see the perimeter shots is the ferry landing in TTC directly opposite the main entrance anyway, not in the park. Looks like I might not be able to finish Holiday Wishes this year, last year I had tech problems galore, I started late and then lost my battery (it fell off) so I don't have a continuous tape. I wish it wasn't a 6 hour round trip to get there.

Ohhhh! That I only had a 6 hour drive, with three kids!

--19 hour drive for me, not counting stops.

Re: Holiday fireworks questions

Yeah Cavey, I know. I just don't want to fall asleep driving home. Let's be honest, nobody can afford to stay overnight all the time. In theory it's doable. We did drive up for one lousy ride on EE during passholder previews (and Fantasmic and Illuminations) and I used to drive up to rent lighting gear that wasn't available in town and I'd take a 3 hour break at Universal. There's always the Pop I guess.
