Where to Activate?

Good Morning,

I'm almost sure I read more than once that you can activate your park passes at DTD. If true, can you tell me where? This is going to be our 11th trip to the world but we never had to activate before. We've been using the "old" type tickets we bought years ago. We finally used them all up.

I just printed out our boarding passes, we're all packed and now we WAIT. I'm thinking of putting our tree up. That will keep me busy and then I won't have to do it when we get back. Yeh, that sounds good.

Do you have regular park passes? If so you activate them the first time you use tham at any park.

If you have an AP, you can activate it at DtD. They have a customer service station there where it can be done. This is what we do prior to checkng in at the resort. Enjoy your trip!!!

Just to add, you don't want to activate your tickets prior to arrival at a park, as they countdown to expiration begins at first useage.

"Activation," BTW, is simply going through the gate into the park. Nothing special to it, other than having your fingers scanned for biometrics.

Thanks everyone. We're going to MK after we have a sandwich at Earls so we'll activate them there. Am I the only one who gets butterflies in their stomach? I feel like it's my first trip.

It's SO easy to activate them at DTD...and most times there is LITTLE OR NO WAIT! Much better than the Guest Services at the parks.

It is not too far from World of Disney. Just ask someone for GUEST SERVICES when you get there!

No, you need to activate your Annual Pass or park tickets you get at The Disney Store before you can use them in the turnstile.
