Eride night questions

Hi

We are so excited to find out that we have a few eride nights during our stay and have never had a chance to expierence it. Just looking for some advice on how to handle eride night.
I was thinking of PSing for a dinner right in the park around 6pm, sound like a good idea?
Then, where do we get the wristband? What time can you get the wrist band?
Ok, only one more question - When do we purchase our eride night tickets? Can they be purchased upon check-in, or only on the day of the eride night?

- we plan on going to the eride night that starts at 8pm

Thanks so much!!!!

Hi,
Dinner sounds great, have you ever tried the Liberty Tree at the MK?!!! Great place to eat!!
We've always purchased our e-tickets at the hotel we were staying at. Alot easier, and fewer lines.
The wirst gurards, were given out at City Hall , when you walk in the MK, it would be on your left, or I believe that would be to the west . Don't quote me on that one, but I'm sure you know where it is. I know we also picked them up (wrist bands) earlier, and if you see a line, they do move quite quickely. They have the CM's putting them on you, so you should not have any type of problem!!!
SO, if you decide dinner, you will already have the writst bands on, and you'll be ready for a fun night!!!!! This way, you won't have to walk back to the front of the Park. Although, I remember one e-ticket nite, they we're giving the bands out , where you come out of Space Mountain, but that was a few years ago. If your in doubt, just ask, and someone will tell you . But sure about City Hall.!!! Good Lucke & Just have fun, fun, fun!!!!!!:) JOANN

E ride nights are my fave! . You can buy your tickets for eride at your hotel before the actual day, which is best because they sometimes sell out

A 6pm PS sounds perfect.

They give out the wristbands starting at 4 in the garden area next to town hall. Get them early, and you will not have to stand in line after your meal--just go ride!

Have fun--our favorite thing on erides is at about 11 go eat ice cream on main street and watch the castle change color. With all the lights in the trees, the castle in the background, and no one around, it is like it is your personal wonderland.

I just love that place!

:)

You can also get your wrist bands at Splash Mountain (where you buy the photos) and Space Mountain (in the merchandise area). There was always a BIG line at City Hall; none at the other 2 spots.

Wristbands are (or at least were) ready at 4:00 PM.

Have fun!

How do you find out if there will be E-ride nights available during your stay? We are going in May. We have done e-ride nights several times and they are awesome!!!

Keep your eyes on the front page, I will post any e-ride nights there. I have heard rumor that there will be one near the end of May, but not anything prior to that.

E night

E night tickets are usually made available 4 or 5 days prior to the E night. You can not purchase them earlier than that. When you check-in the hotel, ask them when the E night tickets for your date will be available. Then keep an eye on the calendar. I recommend you purchase them the first morning they become available. E night tickets are available in Limited Quantities only.
I have gone to at least five E nights, and each time I used the above strategy to obtain my E tickets.

Just to give you an idea of E nights, last year we were able to go on BuzzLightyear 4 times in a row, and then Space Mtn 3 times and then still have hours to do other things.
Two years ago, we first went over to Splash Mtn, and rode it 7 times, three of them without getting out of our seats.. and still had plenty of time for other things.
My wife likes to do her shopping then because the crowds are smaller.

Have fun!

--------------
Here is info on E nights

By the way, when John Young piloted the first Space Shuttle into orbit, ground controllers asked him how the ride was. He told them it was an E ticket ride!

I am pretty sure that the prices are about $12 to $15 for adults, though that may have changed. Last time I went, a couple of years ago, it was $10 plus tax.

Is there any "Rhyme or Reason" as to what dates these are scheduled for?
I am wondering why they aren't every month? Or are they every month?

I can hear people climbing on to their soap boxes now...

Actually, the E-Ride nights used to be scheduled rather regularly, with them falling on Tuesday and Friday nights (I think). Since 9/11, Disney has decided that the nights are not profitable, most of the time, and therefore, have reduced scheduling to busy times of the year, or times when they think they can sell out. So, it looks like we will see them sporadically throughout the year, with no rhyme or reason to how the schedule is made.
