Escaping ghosts?

I just saw something about "ghosts" escaping from the Haunted Mansion. What is that all about? Have not heard of that before. Sounds like fun tho!

I think I have seen lights swirling around the HM at night, maybe to look like ghosts flying around... is this what you are possibly talking about? Or maybe it is the comment at the end of the ride about not picking up hitchhikers???

Oh yes, you didn't know? Every night after park closing, when all the park CMs have left the ghosts leave the Haunted Mansion. They never leave the MK park however but they use all the park fountains as their personal bath tubs, dance around main street, & tease the horticultural and other overnight workers. Sometimes, especially if you are staying MK view at Contemporary you can stand out on your balcony late at night and hear some weird noises. It's also been reported that they raid some of the restaurants in MK of all their desserts and yummy food.

Apart from the part of me that just wished that what 'Wish' said was true......I think what you are thinking of is the Hitchhiking ghosts at the end of the ride ( like Tink said....)- That is the only ghost escaping that I can think of.

That would certainly take away the appeal of spending the night in Cindy's castle.

This reminds me of a video DD had when she was a baby. I think it was Disneyland Fun and it had a bunch of kids wandering around DL and singing songs at each atttraction. There was one at the Haunted Mansion that was just ghosts dancing around. I think it was called "Grim, Grinnin' Ghosts."
