What did we miss the first trip?
Two years ago, we went to WDW for a brief visit and did a "whirlwind tour" of the following:
1) At Epcot - Honey I Shrunk..., The land, Living Sea, Cranium, Spaceship Earth, Norway, Mexico, Germany, US 2) At MK - Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Haunted M, Grand Prix, Buzz LY, Teacups, Dumbo, other kids rides, fireworks at night 3) At AK - K. Safari, nature trail, K. Rapids ride, Tough..bug, Dinosaur, Tree of L, the parade 4) AT MGM - Great Movie R, Star Tours, Tower of T, Backlot Tour, Indiana Jones Stunt..., There may be a couple of other things I've forgotten but that's pretty much it. We are headed back this fall for a week-long visit and I'd love thoughts on what we missed that you feel are "must do" attractions or shows. Thanks.

:) Hi!! I would add to your next trip 1.) At Epcot Test Track, The American Adventure Show in America, and the movie in France 2.) At Mk try the new Aladdin's magic carpet ride and see if the new Mickey's Philharmagic show will be open yet, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 3.)At AK try the new Triceratops Spin and Primeval Whirl rides and DO NOT MISS the Festival of the Lion King Show!! 4.) Studios, don't miss Beauty and the Beast live on stage and Muppet Vision 3D, the Hunchback of Notre Dame is also a terrific live show, even though I didn't care for the movie, the show was great! Have a wonderful time!!! Amy:)

I agree with Amy and will add:
Epcot: Ellen's Energy Adventure, Journey Into Your Imagination (I actually missed this one myself but will be on my todo list for next trip) Studios: Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Rock 'N Roller Coaster (I missed this one also and that bummed me out!) Who Wants to be a Millionair, Play It Ak.. I think everything is covered MK: PARADE!! and Crystal Palace (Yes, this is not a ride but a WONDERFUL character meal!!) Happy Planning |

At Epcot don't miss Illuminations! It is a nightly fireworks & laser show... breathtaking! If you have kids definately get them involved in the Kidcot stations around the World Showcase. It allows them to have fun while you tour the WS and you get a great keepsake mask to bring home. It was the highlight of our last trip.
At Animal Kingdom don't miss the Tarzan Rocks show! And try to find De Vine a woman dressed in kudzu on stilts. She moves ever so slowly and is so much fun to watch her surprise those around her. Also, Wes Palm a talking palm tree is a lot fun. Sadly the Hunchback of Notre Dame show is gone at MGM! I'm still waiting to see what they replace it with. It was one of the best shows there IMO! And finally, no trip to WDW is complete without seeing Fantasmic at MGM! It is awesome!! Oh, and I can't forget about the wonderful dining experiences. If you've never been to Ohanas at the Polynesian Resort it is a must do. Stay after dinner to catch the Magic Kingdom fireworks on the beach! It is our favorite place to view them. If a character meal is a priority Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary can't be beat! |

Everyone has come up with great suggestions. Two that I would add:
1. Alien Encounter in MK Tomorrowland for an experience that may make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. 2. No Disney fan should miss Walt Disney: One Man's Dream at MGM. It's a tribute to Walt's life with tons of great memorabilia on display. And as Dab said, don't miss Illuminations, the fireworks/laser show that closes Epcot every night.
