How do I buy an Annual Pass?

Hi again, How do I buy an annual pass? I live in Illinois. Do I send in for it? If I buy it in May is it good until the following May? I know you all can answer these questions for me! THANKS!!!!

You can go to your local Disney Store and purchase them there. (That's what I just did) Or you can order them online at Disney.com! You will get a voucher for the AP's. Then you take them to one of the parks to activate them. The day you first activate them at a park, is the day you start counting your year.

I bought mine in March, and will not activate them until May 29th. They will expire a year from May 29th. Hope this helps!:D

Thanks GoofyGal!! That's what I needed to know. One more question, how do I get discounts from an AP when booking my hotel, for example, if I don't actually get the pass until I get there? Is there a code on it or something??

You don't need a code. Just contact a Disney only travel agent or call Disney and identify yourself as an annual pass holder. They will require your AP or your voucher when you check in, but you don't have to prove anything prior to that point.

One hint, just make sure you purchase them prior to arriving in FL, many of the Disney Stores there charge more for them, the same price is if you wait to buy them at the gate.
