Ride closings

I just checked the schedule for ride closings for May 07 at allears.net and there doesn't seem to be much.

Does anyone know if this is because it is too far out and the schedule isn't available yet, or do they just not do much refurbishing at that time of year because the crowds are higher?

Thanks for your help!
Kathy

Re: Ride closings

It might be a combination of both but the crowds in May are pretty low. There might not be many refurbs going on. When I went this past May there were only three and one was POTC. So consider it a real good thing.

I think the closer it gets to May, you may see more. It is a ways off still.

Re: Ride closings

We have seen a few closings in May, especially if you go earlier in the month. Byt Memorial Day weekend, when the summer season starts, you will probably see fewer closings.

Re: Ride closings

I agree with what others have said..it's a combonation of too early and crowds tend to pick up in late may..we went in late may one year and i dont remember anything "big" being closed

Re: Ride closings

Well hopefully there will be no changes because I am looking forward to no refurbishments while we are there in May.

Unfortunately, DS still has not had the chance to experience the Wonders of Life pavillion and all it has because it is seasonal. Kind of stinks because I want him to see that one.

Re: Ride closings

personally, i don't think you have anything to worry about. i've been there a few times in may and never saw any of the major rides down for refurb. it's a great month to be there as long as you stay away from mother's day and memorial day.

I was thinking that it might be busy around mother's day, but the cm I spoke to at reservations said that wasn't the case.

Thanks for the info.
