Another day in WDW!

So I was thinking. Since we'll be coming back to WDW property for Caveyfest on Friday, Jan. 26, I checked to see how much it would be to add another day to our parkhoppers.

$11 total for the six of us!! YEAH!!

And then I did a little researching on orlando area hotels and I got a few good prices for places within just miles of WDW for around $100.

So...we'll be leaving Stu's family early on the 26th and heading to WDW for the day and then off to Caveyfest!! Then we'll spend the night in Orlando before heading home.

Stu said we should get 2 another days ~ just $20 more ~ in case we want to hit the parks before really leaving WDW...that might be pushing the back to school deadline of Jan. 29th (and our budget) just a bit...but ya never know...

So, thanks Cavey ~ you gave me a whole 'nother day in WDW!!

I noticed when we were planning our trip that adding extra days to the park hopper would only be a couple of dollars a day after a while so it's really great and cheap..... if you can say cheap when talking about a Disney trip. LOL

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so cool! I am thrilled that you are getting some more WDW time and getting to do caveyfest. I'm just bummed I am going to miss is...again.

With how cheap it is to add extra days after a certain point, I've always wondered how many days you can put on a park hopper. If you put a TON of extra days and the 'no expiration' option, you could probably save a hefty bundle. I'm sure they cap you off at some point, but depending on your length of trip, it might be worth putting more on there, especially with prices going up every year.

I think they cap it off at 10 ~ and if I remeber correctly, the no expiration option is a little on the expesive side. But since we'll be using the tickets within the 14 days, it works out perfect for us!!

Late January, you should be able to get into the Value resorts for less than $100 a night and it keeps you on property so you won't have to drive so much and you can take advantage of the extra magic hours.

Yay!! I loved when we added a day to our MYW tickets on our honeymoon that it was only $2.50...you cant get better than that..I remember when it was about $55 dollars!

The problem with staying on property is that we're 6 people, so even at the POP I have to get two rooms. Plus, theres no EMH for that day cause I check for the same reason.

ya know...if we do the 2 extra days for $20, I'll be at MK the morning Splash Mountain is due to reopen.....that would be awesome!!!!

I'm just soooo excited about how big Cavey-fest II is growing. It makes me all warm inside.

Anyway, I bought 6-day tickets this trip, as it was only $8 more than 5-day (for the entire family). Whether permitting, we may do 5-days in the parks and one at BB, which we've never been to.

Ya can't beat that price, caveman!! We're hoping for one good weather day for BB as well! Did you use the discount code to get the free "plus" upgrade to your hoppers?
