What are your must dos for December in WDW?

We are going to WDW on Dec. 12-22. What things must we absolutely do or can't miss?

Please remember we have 2 young ones, so we are planning to have some days spent at the hotel. We are not planning alot of sit down meals.

Things we currently have planned.
We are staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas.
Sleigh ride
Meals at Ohana (breakfast and dinner), PLayhouse Disney breakfast at MGM, Boma, Whispering Canyon.
MVMCP (on Dec. 14th) - we are considering adding a second party
Pony ride for DD at Fort Wilderness

Any other things that we MUST do at christmas time??

The parks are all done up so good everywhere, so to say which one. I would say check to see if the Country Bears are donig the Christmas show. I did see where someone was poasting it might not be all of dec (it use to be). The parade at MK is great, I will say at this time of year you can't go wrong any place. Enjoy your time down there this is my very favorite time to be at WDW.

Don't miss the Osbourne Lights at MGM. They are a must see. They are all coordinated with music it "snows" while you are there.

If you have time, check out some of the decorations at the other resorts. We saw the full-size gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. It was amazing.

Yep, the Country Bears Christmas show is not running this year, according to Allearsnet.com

You MUST tour the deluxe resorts. They are beautiful at Christmas. My favorites are WL and Board Walk, with GF a close 3rd.

Re: What are your must dos for December in WDW?

This will be our third year in a row at WDW in December. It is one of the few family traditions we have and decided to continue even though Grayson just came. We visited the deluxe hotels last year which we really liked, did the Christmas Party, saw the parade, Candlelight Processional, and the lights at MGM. Thanks for the suggestions btw.
This is the first year we have a car (we are driving) and may consider a trip to SeaWorld since my DH keeps reef tanks at home.

SeaWorld had a choir singing at Christmas when we were there.

Now that I think of it, DTD has strolling carolers and municiple choirs singing. Here's a pic. They were wonderful and talented.

Re: What are your must dos for December in WDW?

It looks like you made some great choices. I know you said you are doing a ponyride at FW but I used to LOVE doing the hayrides at night which bring you around some of the camping loops and, believe it or not, some people go all out decorating their RVs with Christmas Lights & displays. You sing Christmas carols and it's a fun little activity.
