Is it to late...

to get the No Expiration Option. We had 7 day hopper passes, expiring this coming Sunday (10th). My dh got sick enough one day that we had to stick around the resort. Can we still purchase the No Expiration Option or did we lose that day and how much would it cost. I was going to call Disney to ask them but I came back with a cold and lost my voice too. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Is it to late...

I think you can still do it if they haven't expired yet, but I am not 100% sure on that. You should make a phone call to make sure.

Iam not sure if you still have time or not. Calling down is your best bet.

Re: Is it to late...

You can add the no expire option up to 14 days from the purchase of the tickets.

However, if I understand your post, you have ONE unused day on your tickets. The no expire option is $100 per ticket, and definately NOT worth buying for one day.

In fact, I bought 6-day tickets this year, and I'm not sure will even use the 6th day. But that extra day was only $8/person, and worth having IMO.

I was in the same situation and have a day left on my pass...I never even bothered to add the no expiration. I didn't know it costs $100 per ticket...wow!

Re: Is it to late...

Thanks Cavey, I thought maybe that would be the case. I guess we should be glad we only missed one day.

You CAN also convert it into an annual pass by paying the difference of what you paid - which isn't that much alot of times. May be worth considering if there's any change of going back within the year.

Oops! I got it wrong--sort of. I added the bold highlight to the quote...

1-day ticket (n/a), 2-day ticket ($10.65 w/tax), 3-day ticket ($15.98 w/tax), 4-day ticket ($42.60 w/tax), 5-day ticket ($58.58 w/tax), 6-day ticket ($63.90 w/tax), 7-day ticket ($95.85 w/tax), 8-day ticket ($133.13 w/tax), 9-day ticket ($159.75 w/tax), 10-day ticket ($165.08 w/tax)

The No Expiration Option can be added after the initial ticket purchase, but you'll have to pay the full upgrade based on the original length of the ticket. For instance, if you buy a 7-day ticket and decide on the 5th day of your vacation that you won't be using the rest of the ticket on this trip, you can add No Expiration for $95.85 and use the remaining 2 days on a future trip. Such upgrades are allowed within the first 14 days (day of first use plus 13 days)...
The Park Hopper option is the flat rate....

This works out to just under $7 per day on a seven-day ticket, but obviously it adds a lot proportionally to the cost of a one-day ticket.
