Hi!
I love WDW in December...but not just any time in December. I think that the first week in December is the BEST time to go...few crowds, great rates, and beautiful decorations. It is my favorite way to kick off the Christmas holiday!

Oh, yes!! Disney at Christmas is a must see for any fan. We've gone the past couple of years and it was amazing! I don't know what I loved most - the beautiful holiday decorations at each resort or the fact that they have Christmas music playing at every park all day long!! :D
Trish has the right idea - the first week is the way to go. Minimal crowds - maximum enjoyment! Keep in mind that through mid-December is still considered "value" season so you'll save $$$. I hope you can make it!:)

WDW in December
Ditto to what everyone else has said!
We have been 3 times during the first week in Dec and what we love is the weather. Maybe we have been very lucky, but each time the weather was perfect for the parks and usually warm enough for the pools during the day. At night we could use a light jacket or sweatshirt and most days it would be in the low to upper 70's. Much better than the 85 to 90 degree for doing the parks! I'm sure you will find it a great time to go. graybill

Disney is sooo nice in December. As mentioned, the closer you get to Christmas, the more crowded it gets and stays that way until January 1st. That is a very good day to visit the parks.
Have a great trip!:)

I agree 100% that going down do WDW in December is the best time of year to go (got my reservation booked for this coming Dec. 7-12th!!) I went once during July (NEVER AGAIN) and I can tell you I wouldn't think about going down any other time than during the holiday season. Its the most wonderful time of the year to go!!! Have a great trip!!!:D :D

I REALLY want to go at Christmas time this year. We will be there for Aug. and I am hoping I can convince my DH to do a "quickie" in Dec. I am afraid to take my DD out of school.:nooo:
Okay, silly question. Anyone have a favorite resort for Christmas??

O.K., our favorite resort around the holidays has to be the Grand Floridian. Besides the monstrous Christmas tree that stands in the main lobby (you have to see it to believe it!), they have carolers singing holiday songs and a band playing in the main lobby almost every night. Very festive!!:D
