Lazy day tips?

Finally leaving next week! I even have to be in St. Thomas VI the two days before and wish I could skip it and go to Disney early!

For the first time, my wife and I are going to do at least two "lazy" days of minimal rides, shows, and shops to just relax. Anyone have any fun tips for a lazy day? We are APs and dont need to "fit it all in".

I know that we all don't race from ride to ride. (Like I have done in the past... My guide style is like a Richard Simmons video!)

Thanks again to all who have provided tips on restaurants and the POFQ! This should be a fun trip.

:heart Mickey
:heart Goofy
:heart Tigger the BEST!!!

P.S. Yes, I will be 36 next week. Hard to tell...

When I do a lazy day trip,I basically sit and people watch. A great spot to do that is the Boardwalk area. You have all those shops and you can rent t bike thingy if you want.

Head over to Fort Wilderness for awhile and talk a walk on one of the trails, then eat lunch at Trails End Buffet.....

We Rent a boat and hang out around the lagoon. We also just get a cup of Joe and sit in the parks and people watch. This could be very entertaining. My DD idea of relaxing is to ride the monorail, I don't know, but she likes it.

I could not agree more! There is so much to do...and so many ways to relax. My favorite way to relax is with a hot cup of coffee in a rocking chair on the front porch of Crockett's Tavern.

The outposts are really neat, too. They have checkers!

DC, how about strolling between the monorail resorts and taking a gander in them? I love checking out the different restaurants/lobby/decor and SHOPS!! :D

We are thinking about having one of those lazy days too. I was thinking about a lazy afternoon by the pool for a little while and then I read what Mickey Mac posted and I like that idea too. Maybe grab a quick lunch or snack at one of the other resorts. Or maybe take a little drive over to Downtown Disney and walk around and start a little early shopping. Gotta love shopping at disney :heart :)

Sounds like a great idea at Ft Wilderness. Have not been there since '73 when my mom decided that snakes were "just not Disney" :laugh

If you follow MickeyMac's suggestion and take a tour of the monorail resorts make sure you allow a little extra time to rest a while in a hammock on the Poly beach!
I also like Quartz's idea of the boat rental. The pontoon boats look like a lot of fun. Or if you're up for a little more child like fun, try the mose boats!
I'll add that I think the World Showcase is extremely relazing. Usually not crowded during the day and so much to see and do... and eat!
Have fun!

I have never seen a snake at FW, but I have seen some very friendly (and curious) armadillos.
