Talking Trash Can & Palm Tree

Ok another two questions.......

I have read about the talking trash can in Cosmic Ray's Restaurant in MK. Does anyone know where it is located in the restaurant? I don't want to look like I am crazy going to every trash can in the place to find it.

Also read about the talking Palm Tree at AK's entrance. Has anyone ran into it and where exactly is it? We tried to find it on our last trip but didn't. Is it always there every day?

um, you will know the talking trash can when you see it, it will be surrounded by children.

You could, however, make sure, and start talking to each trashcan you see...

You could also throw little scraps of paper into every trash can you see and one of them might respond

lol- that is funny- start talking to the trash cans- I can see it now.... "hello? anyone there? Are you the talking one?" imagine the looks!

the talking can walks all over the place and talks and will be demanding its own attention so you wont be able to miss it.

We saw a talking "recycling can" (he corrected us when we called him a trach can) out on Rafiki's Planet watch. Everyone here is right, you can not miss him. They are surrounded by children and moving all about.

The are really fun.

Haven't seen the trash can but we did run into the palm tree at AK on our last trip. It was right after we got through the ticket stands. It was pretty funny to watch the face of the lady it was talking to

Don't know if it is out every day though.

The talking trash can's name is "Push" and you will know him when you see him. He's very friendly.

We found "PUSH" in the Animal Kingdom. Trust me when I say you will know him/her when you see it.

My DS loves PUSH and we were on a hunt for him for a few days during our May trip. We finally asked in Mickey's StarTraders where he normally hangs out and a VERY nice CM told Nathan that she would do some checking for us since PUSH lives in the back of the store. She came out and told us that he's off on Friday and Saturday and comes out and these times:
10:00
10:50
11:40
12:40
1:30
2:40

She was right and we had no trouble finding him. He's usually around the restrooms near Mickey's StarTraders. I don't know if this schedule changes at all but it was current in May of '06.

What about the talking water fountains in Epcot. Has anyone ever used one?

Yes, the talking water fountain is over by the restrooms between Innovations and The Land but I think there was some construction going on there the last time so I'm not sure if it's still there or not.

I glimpsed at Push live and in action one day with a friend for Spring Break but she didn't seem interested enough to stop and look so... Sad day.

We saw Push last time we were there right outside of Buzz Lightyear. He was, of course, surrounded by tons of people (a bunch of cheerleaders!), so very easy to spot. DH is always looking for the behind the sceens stuff actually spotted the person controling him. I would never have noticed - he totally looked like the rest of the tourists, just had his hand in a shoulder bag and kept talking into his hand.
