Let the Dreams Officially Begin!
Well, it's cold, VERY wet, and VERY rainy this morning at the Magic Kingdom, but today is the official start of the Year of a Million Dreams! The previous months were, what MK Vice President Phil Holmes called, a "dress rehearsal." From Good Morning America, to the Daily Buzz (which if you saw this morning I was helping Captain Hook and I really could use some of that footage if you come across it), the whole world is seeing the giant press event to start the Year of a Million Dreams! Tonight the first "official" family will be welcomed to stay in Cinderella's Castle. They will also be promoting all the new attractions, including the Laugh Floor. It's very nasty weather, but were all warm from the thought of being here making magic.
Year of a Million Dreams shall now commence!

Matt, I recorded GMA on my Tivo this morning. We also have a DVD recorder. If my DH can copy to show onto DVD I will be happy to mail you a copy. I will also be at WDW from 2/1 - 2/3 and would be happy to get it to you personally.

Im so excited to be one of the first officially there- to be within a week of an official start is such a thrill... just hold off on everything for one more week!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- giddy I am ....just giddy

The weather's not any better in South Florida. The cold front moved through and the whole peninsula is getting rain today. Tomorrow will be a better day, although temps aren't going to break much above 65 for the rest of the week, but it will be bright and sunny. Maybe I will get a look at Laugh Floor tomorrow after all!

I can not wait- but I just know I might pass out if they approach me! I will be happy with a PIN! (ok, a trip back to Disney or even a front row seat to a parade would be awesome too!)

Even after updating Flash and Shockwave, I'm not having any success opening that file either. Perhaps it's corrupted or something.
