Magic Kingdom to Epcot ?

What would be the quickest way to leave the magic Kingdom and go to Epcot? We will have a car and drive to MK but will be dining at Epcot and must return for the car. Monorail, bus or what?

Monorail, definately, then monorail back, and resort monorail over to TTC for your car.

If you've got kids, make sure you ask to sit in the cockpit with the pilot - it's especially romantic at night! They will allow up to four to sit up there, and if you're lucky, the kids will get a little 'pilot's liscense."

Dissy,
We do this often: Want to spend most of day at MK but dine at one of our many favorite restaurants in Epcot, so we park at Epcot, take the monorail from there to MK for the day, then back to Epcot for dinner and when we are through at Epcot, we just leave from there.

Monorail hands down!

My kids actually think it just a neat ride (not actually transportation)!!:D

I have just one question, depends on the time of the year, if you are going to eat dinner at Epcot and you are staying the rest of the time in Epcot, then drive to Epcot and take the monorail to MK. You have a great chance in the morning to get in front. We used to do it that way anytime that we drove. It alot easier to get out of the park after the fireworks than to go back by monorail to TTC and then to your car.

I don't know if this has become standard policy, but when I was on the monorail platform at MK a few days ago I was told by a cast member that because of concerns about terrorism in regard to the war that monorail passengers were no longer being allowed to ride with the pilot. Perhaps someone else has more info?

Oh no, please tell me this isn't so!! I"ve done this once recently (in Feb) when my friend and I went for her bacherolette party and *really* want my son to be able to do this on his bday in June!!!!! It was such a neat ride and so different being up there. It was the best!!
