Gift Cards
How long does it take to get a Disney Gift Card? My brother in law said that he ordered us Disney $ or gift cards for Christmas and we haven't gotten anything yet. Any idea how long it takes for them? He said he ordered it around Dec. 10th. I wonder if it's like the disney video.. and will take forever to get here.

You should have that gift card if it was ordered on the 10th of december. Your BIL needs to follow up on that. I am able to get them through my DD's school and have them in my hand in about a week. You can order them online and have them in 7 business days or less. There is definately a problem if you don't have yours by now.

Do you know if you can use them everywhere at the park? even the ones people buy at the Disney Store? We got them for Christmas for us and our 2 DSs... how FUN!!! My $50 is going towards an AP!!!! wee hoo

The gift cards can now be used pretty much anywhere at WDW (resorts, dining, retail). That's what I love about them now. You can even keep adding to them. This is especially helpful now since we're going in August and all I have to keep track of now is one gift card for each child (I have two) instead of holding all of those DD.
