Once upon a time there was an off Broadway play called The Fantastiks, which features a song called "Try to Remember". Here's my idea. Recast the play with the characters and present it in one of the parks or possibly in Times Square and retitle it "Disney's Fantasmiks". The high point of the production would be Goofy's soulful rendition of "Try To Remember".
Or am I showing my age?

I have heard of the Fantastics, but I don't think I really know much about it. Goes off to google it......

you're asking me to comment on a quote I've never seen before that references a post that isn't here.
If you're asking about the play, it was written in the early 60s and became a staple of summer stock and regional theater as well as being made into a major motion picture. If you don't understand the concept, it's simple, take a well known play and Disnify it.

I like anything that has anything to do with disney, so I would send that idea pronto to disney.....heck they can do all my old favorites with disney characters and I would watch. The muppets are good for that..lol

There's not much to explain. There was a musical that played on Broadway in the 1960s and ran for a long time. they made a movie of it. It's real popular. It's called The Fantastiks. You recast it with Disney characters, i.e. Mickey, Goofy etc. Because it's now Disney, you rename it The Fantsamics so we make sure people connect it to other Disney entertainment. That's it. Put it in one of the parks or put it on Braodway when they close Lion King.
