Albatross or Pirate Adventure?

Hi- I think that these 2 activities for children are very similar but have you done? and would you suggest the Albatross or the Pirate Adventure? Are they similar enough that I could pick the Albatross since it leaves from yacht Club and we are staying at Swan- or is it worth it to make the trek before 9am to get Kevin to the GF to take the Pirate Adventure? Please help- If he can't go, I wouldn't want to blame my new friends at MB for not helping me decide quick enough!

My son has done both and enjoyed both very much. The one at GF is the original one and if Captain Ron is there that day he's awesome. The one leaving from Y&B Club has fewer kids and a smaller boat. If this helps he picked the Pirate Cruise from GF to do again this summer. You can't make a bad decision with this one.

Think about what you want to do during the cruise. There isn't enough time to leave the resort or that area but breakfast at a resort restaurant is a good way to pass time.

What do you think would be the best way to get him to the GF for 9:00? I guess buss..... to MK, then monorail... huh?

They are about the same so I would do the one closer to my resort!!!

ok, Made the reservation for him to leave from Yacht and Beach club-
Cool thing to note.... on that cruise the kids go into the World Showcase to a few ports of call to look for treasure... HOW FUN IS THAT to go there with out your mom and dad!!!

Now you have to think about what you are going to do during the cruise. When my son did that one we were staying at BC so we used that time to swim in the awesome pool. A quiet breakfast is another good idea.

This sounds like great fun. Do you know if you have to be staying on site to book this? We are staying at Windsor Hills.

Anyone can book it but it does fill up so you need to call as soon as you can. I believe it starts booking at 180 days out like ADRs.

you do not have to be staying on site- and you book it through WDW-Dine.... there is a lot of info on it on AllEars.... I am excited about it! and about the quiet breakfast... ain't gonna happen... we have a 1 yr old as well... but LOVE the thought of walking around the Boardwalk! with parents and hubby and hubby's mom

Not blowing over the hubby's mom part... blowing over the ahhhh how cute- quiet walk with hubby! tee hee
