Hi, this is my first official post, but I have been lurking since last summer. I've gotten tons of great information from this site which helped us to have a great trip this past October. Now I have another question and I couldn't find the answer in previous posts.
My 2 daughters and I are going back to WDW during Feb. vacation for a 3-night stay at the POP. We are mainly going for the Pirate party, because we heard so many great things about it, and my girls are crazy about PotC. We have a few days left on our 10-day no-expire passes. We want to add the water park & more option so we can go to Disneyquest. My question is this: Do I need to go to a theme park to add this option, or can I do this right at Disneyquest? We want to go there on our first day, the morning of the party, so we won't be using a day on our park pass. My other question is: Does anyone know what time they are letting people into the park with just the party tickets?

Hi Heidi!!

I'm not sure about where you would add the "more fun" option to your hoppers, but I would imagine it would be at the Pop's conceirge ~ they handled all of our ticket changes.

If you are just adding the option so you can take one trip to DQ, I would skip it ~ it's about $50 a person where it is only $32 to get into DQ, but if you are going to go mulitple times or visit Blizzard Beach (I believe TL is closed till March) then add it.

As for the Pirate and Princess Party ~ we entered the park at 3:30pm and they accepted our ticket for the party for entry (thus, we did not use a park hopper day) It was the first party, so it might have been different, because I was pretty sure that I read prior to going that you could not enter the park with a PPP ticket prior to 4:30pm. Check with Guest services on that one.

I believe they start allowing ticket holders for hard ticket events into MK starting at 4 PM.

Congrats on your first post and welcome to mousebuzz. Jen is totally right. If you are going to to both the water parks and DQ, add the option. If not, don't bother as it will be more expensive. If you think you may want to take two trips to DQ, then again it will be worth it. I don't think you can do this at the DQ gates. You should do it at your resort when you check in or I think there is a place at DTD (not sure where at this moment but someone on here will know) in the Market place where you can buy/add on to tickets. Best tip ever that I got from a merlin and a cavemen, make copies of all your tickets before leaving home. Keep them in a seperate location in your packed luggage. If you or anyone in your party losing your ticket, you can show them the copy and they can look up the number and replace it....otherwise it's tough noogies.

Also, both Soundgod and Jen are right on the entry time for hard ticket events. It depends on the set-up for that day, but you can easily get your bracelettes as early as 3:30 if they start handing them out that early.

Thanks for your help. I didn't realize I could add it right at the hotel. We want the option because it will give us 6 visits that don't expire. And we already have a trip booked for Sept. 2007 (fingers crossed for free dining!). So I know we will use the extra days for that trip as well.
I look forward to posting all about the party after we get back.

Did you add the no-expiration to you base ticket? If you have not done that, your options along with any days unused on the plus part of the ticket expire 14 days after you activated them (use them at a park or plus). You must add that no expiration option either now or when you get to your resort.

oh ok...just checking. Glad you thought to do that. Not everyone knows the new MYW expiration polcies and I didn't want you to be in for a shock.

Guest Relations. There is a location in the Westside next to Wetzel Pretzel, there's also a second "lobby" location in the marketplace next to Team Mickey. The hotel is probably your best bet though if your tickets are attached to your room key.
