Hi everyone,

Not sure if you remember me, but a few years ago my site "wdwfan" was discussed here at MouseBuzz (then Disney Central) ...
Incredible site for WDW - MouseBuzz.com

I was asked by some members to let you know if I ever relaunched the site. Well, I have started a brand new Disney World site that I would like to share with you:
WDWLIVE

The site went on-line late last night. So if you find something that doesn't work, do not hesitate to let me know. Anything else you have to say is also welcome (good or bad).

Thanks to everyone for the comments so far.

I would be curious to know if anyone experiencing long buffering of the videos is using high-speed cable or DSL Internet access?

You definitely need high speed Internet to appreciate the videos. Within the next week or so, I will introduce the videos in a second size which will be about half what they are now. At least that should give people a choice of better load times.

What a cool idea, Bobster! I like watching those (and no, it didn't take long to buffer and load for me on cable). So much better than a still photo: it's like a short glimpse out a window onto those vignettes. I can almost smell the areas as well as see and hear them.

Thanks ddoll. That was the main idea for the videos. Sure there will be the occasional parade or show, but overall the videos are to give us that feeling of "being there". Like sitting on a bench in Fantasyland and just enjoying the view. I call these "atmospheric" videos.

If you like the atmospheric videos, you will love the "Walt Disney World Video Web Cam" I am working on. It will give you a dynamic (but non-live) view looking down Main Street U.S.A.

Your pictures are FANTASTIC! ....I saw a few that would make great avatars...I won't "clip" them though...lol well unless you don't mind..lol

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Don't hesitate to make some suggestions if you want to ... :)

For example, I know there are not many photographs on the site right now. Although something new is added to the site everyday, I will be working on doing some major additions to the photograph section over the next few weeks.

Dana, feel free to use any of the thumbnails as your personal avatar. Use any of the photographs for your desktop wallpaper. Use any of the videos to "re-live the magic"!

Just an update to let you know that I have launched the WDWLIVE Walt Disney World Video Web Cam!

There may be a few kinks, but overall it seems to work.
