Barber Shop at the Magic Kingdom

Does anybody know what the hours are at the barber shop at the magic kingdom?

9am to 5pm I think....not positive, but that sounds right. It's best to go there first thing in the morning or right as they are getting ready to close...or at least that's how it's been reported. I have never personally gone there.

The barber shop closes around 5pm. I think it opens when the park does.

Yeah, Allears says 9-5, every day.
It's called Harmony Barber Shop, and it's on Main St. No appointments necessary (but I agree with Dana, I bet it gets busy.)
Adult hair cut is $17, children under 12 is $14.

We've taken our son to the barber shop 3 times (twice in the summer and once in late May) in the middle day and didn't have to wait long at all, maybe 15 minutes at the longest. I've heard there is usually a line but we been lucky in the middle of the day.

We did this too- It was mobbed in the morning- right at 9 i think....
but I couldn't believe they gave my son Mickey Ears! Do they do that for EVERY hair cut or just the 1st one?

Only if it's your child's first haircut. DS has had his cut here three times. The last haircut was horrendous, but fun nonetheless!

They do that for the child's first hair cut...they are suppose to give you a lock of his/her hair and a certificate as well as the mickey ears...really cool deal. I can't think of a better place for a first hair cut.

I couldn't be bothered to take time at WDW to get a haircut. I'd have gone to Supercuts before I left home.

It's more for the experience than the hair cut. We go in even if my son doesn't really need a cut, it's just something special to do at MK.

Last time we did it, I got my hair cut after DD and DS. All three of us had hidden mickey's in our hair. It was fun.

The cut was actually pretty decent, but it was more for the experience (and the pixie dust

This time I think I making all of our boys need a cut- Even my dad! it's just Fun! that's all.. and the 1 year old will be able to do his "first cut...." First Disney Cut that is! cause we did clean up around ear so it's not really a LIE
