We found Jack Sparrow in POTC!
Not that he would have been easy to miss
 I posted here before our trip that I wanted to be able to point out Jack to my son, who loves the first movie. We got pictures! DH didn't take pictures of Davy Jones, since he didn't think it would turn out, and the picture of Barbossa isn't that great, but the ones of Jack turned out. Here's Jack in his first appearance -

Great pic! I love POTC and Captain Jack! I'm glad they have added him to the ride. I can't wait to see him for myself. :D

And finally in the treasure room.
I can't exactly remember the dialog, but DH is convinced that there were clues to the plot of POTC3: AWE in Jack's monologue. Does anyone else remember what he's saying and think the same thing? Also, it was very interesting to compare current-day audio-animatronics with the older ones. Jack was very lifelike in comparison.

I have to agree with your DH...I think that the treasure room scene is from POTC III.

We didn't use a flash! DH has a 9 MP Fuji digital that's pretty impressive, and that's why I don't get to play with it

Thanks - although I have been corrected: hedid use a flash.
 It was about 11:00 at night during EMH and there were only a couple of other people on the boat. It was late and I was tired, so I didn't remember that he'd used the flash. Still - they are pretty cool pics, and so I've told him.

I thought the additions were well done, and I especially liked Jack in the treasure room with his rambling. DH told me he had read that that's really Johnny Depp giving the monologue, too. Just wish we could have heard the whole thing, since there was actually quite a bit of information in it.

Let me start off by saying, nice pictures... but... this is something that I find really hard to deal with because I have to deal with it when I go down to WDW and it just takes away from so much.
Really... Sorry but that just ticks me right off.. nothing ruins a ride more then someone using a flash. I had two very bad rides in WDW on this trip. 1st was on ToT - A lady and a guy were both video taping the ride at the same time. The lady (using the term lady losely) had the light turned on on her camera and it TOTALLY killed the affect. I did say something and at the end of the ride she said that she didn't realize her light was on. Another down point to it was that when we went to see if we wanted to buy the picture all you could really see were these two goofs in the back holding cameras. The 2nd was on Pirates, it was our last night and one of our last rides for our trip and the experience was totally ruined because some guy in the front was taking pictures every couple of feet. Sadly I was sitting two rows behind him so I couldn't say anything. But again... totally lost the joy. Something else about taking pictures in the rides... and I found this interesting.. I met a couple who were on Ellen and she told me that they went and made a special trip to see it (the ride went down the day before because someone got out of the seat) and the ride shut down again because someone took a picture and the flash triggered something that shut it down.
