We are attending a friends wedding in the Tampa Area in May (4-7) and we will have only Sunday to ourselves. I think I have talked DH into zipping over to WDW for the day. Of course, I plan on spending that ONE DAY in Magic Kingdom , with maybe a monorail ride to Poly. I can not explain how excited I am!!
If you only had ONE DAY, what would YOU do??

That's a tough one. I would either do MK or Epcot. OR...Hop and do both!!

I would do just what catfish advises... hop between MK and EC, even though I'd feel like I just HAD to stand on Hollywood Blvd. at MGM, even if it's only for a moment!

If I had one day, I would go to AK and ride the safari, then head to MK, then hop over to Epcot. And then perhaps back to MK for wishes.

I would do a bit of each park I think... hard to say.. I would HAVE to ride Splash Mountain and I would have to do EE and I would have to go to the World Showcase.. So I would have to have a hopper pass...

This is a toughie I have been pondering for awhile......I would really want to eat at Epcot in WS somewhere but I love MGM and MK is just a given!

I would probably get some rest the night before and try and do all of three...

Epcot is my favorite, but unless you hop, I'd do MK (especially if there are kids going). Have a great time!

With just one day, I would do exactly what you're doing. Choose one park and enjoy that one completely!! MK is probably the best choice for a one day trip. Have fun!!

You've got one day in Tampa and you're going to drive 75 miles to WDW when Busch Gardens is around the corner? It's not WDW, but it is a wonderful park with top notch rides and entertainment. Just a suggestion.
On the downside, BG usually closes by 6:30. Epcot always closes at 9 and MK usually 8 at that time of year.

I'd spend my entire day at the MK, with the exception of dinner. I'd monorail over to the Poly and have an early dinner at O'Hana's and then I'd head back to the MK and catch Wishes.

I would start my day at MK for the rope drop...I would then do (and in this order) Pooh, peter, phillharmagic (sp? whatever!), Buzz, splash, POTC....at that point I would quickly hit the monorail and go to epcot....at epcot I would (and yes in this order ) ride soarin and test track...grab lunch at the Ws on your way to the international walkway pathy thingy, stop at the first resort you see and hop their bus to AK....ride soarin and get out of there and head to MGM....then I would ride RNR, TOT, TGMR, muppets and have dinner at momma's....do a few more attractions if there is time and end your wonderful day with Fantasmic! That's how I would do it anyway...lol

Epcot. Breakfast would be a breakfast croissant and/or a fruit tulip at the Fountainview Espresso. SpaceShip Earth. Ellen's Energy Adventure. Whatever you like really. :) But definitely Illuminations.

I would spend the whole day at MK ~ it's my favorite park by far.

Except they should take the bus from MGM back to Epcot in time for Illuminations. At this time of year, Fantasmic is usually performed at 7 PM or 7:30 at the latest.

Yes, definately...wasn't sure what time things were for that day. Excellent plan.

Jen -I can definately do that in one day or die trying..lol I would more than likely switch my day to the world to a day that was having EMH in the AM at mk giving me another hour to play with, but I could do this easily. Girl, I can tour everything I want to do in the MK by lunch time without using EMH...you must wear running shoes. I didn't include all my must-do's at the MK so I will shave time off. you will not be able to have a sit-down meal and may find yourself walking while you are eating, but this can be done.
