How bad are the crowds during this time. Thanks

I think they are higher than then the beginning of May. I think that is near Memorial day isn't it? That's going to be crowded if it is...Can you go earlier like by one week?

Yes, that is Memorial weekend, it will most likely be crowded.

Our favorite week is the week before Memorial Day weekend... there is nobody around, and you leave when the crowd arrives! Magical! Can you switch it to that week?

June 1st is the first weekend of Star Wars Weekends. I have never been but I am anticipating higher crowd levels at MGM. We are going June 1-4th . Hoping crowds wont be too bad but know there is a good chance that they will be. Big crowds and hot weather!

We tend to stay away from WDW from June to early September. We are passholders and live 3 hrs away. We normally go at the times of the year that arent so crowded and hot.

Also keep in mind gay days are from May 29-June 4 this year, so there will be more crowds at the parks on certain days.

We'll be there that same week...trying to fit in a week before our season pass blacks out and catch a SWW. We've been in early May before and I do anticipate more crowds than what we've seen in the past. If you can switch to early in May (if crowds are a big concern) then I'd recommend it. As for us, it's the only week we can go and hit SWW...so we're there!!

We went the first week of June in 2002. One thing I recall is the weather, and it was perfect! The crowds were fine, even with the additional crowd there for gay pride week.

We were at WDW last year fomr May 24th to June 2 and the crowds weren't bad at all. We did notice the crowds building during our stay but compared to July when we normally go it was cool and not really crowded.

Ok how about the crowds for June 7-12. The UG says 9s for all but the 12 which is an 8. We are going for SWW so we know there will be crowds at MGM. How do you think the crowds at MK will be?

I think early June is going to be crowded, a 9 is pretty high. By then schools have started to get out so travel season has started. With the smart use of FastPasses you should be fine because park hours will be longer giving you more time to get stuff done.

We were at WDW late May/rearly June of last year and crowds built as our trip went on but nothing like July crowds.

9 is a pretty fair way to describe the crowds...it's a popular time to go because it's not quite as hot as it will get down there and the kids are just getting out of school. People think they will miss the main crowds of late June and July by heading there that week, but I think it will be just as crowded...more so.

My experience is with parks all across the country, including Disneyland, but not the Orlando parks. Excepting the actual Memorial Day weekend, you should still be ok. But by June 12, between school trips and schools being out, the parks start to get pretty heavy.
