Tween themes at the parks?

Wondering if there are any areas for Tweens- that have themes with Highschool Musical, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Raven ect...???
My guess would be at MGM possibly?

When we were there 2 weeks ago, MGM had a "High School Musical Pep Rally" in front of the Sorcerer's Hat. Since our boys are 4 and 5 months, that's not their thing (we were on our way to Playhouse Disney Live!), but it looked like the tweens were having a good time with it.

mgm has a high school musical show - it was cute when it was at MK - probably similar to that one. Other than that, no other tween things come to mind.

Would be a good idee, but even some of the younger kids stuff needs an update - we have wondered why there's still bear in the big blue house at playhouse disney live on stage (when it is very rare to see it on disney channel - even tho its one of my favs) & no wiggles anywhere really (who are not as big anymore on disney channel either) or doodlebops or several others who are still on disney channel. I would love to see mickey mouse clubhouse added to the playhouse disney live & some of the tween shows added - hannah montana, suite life, etc (not sure what it would be tho).

Like the others said, High school musical is a popular one with the tweens. Everything else at Disney is pretty tween friendly, so I wouldn't worry much.

My DD would die if she saw the High School Musical star Corbin or Zack and Cody! We watched one of the parades on TV with them and she was "swooning".... scary at 10yrs ! She loves all of WDW so we're ok... Just wondering if there was any updates. You would really think they would want to capitalize on that. Those shows are SO POPULAR! All the kids that age can't quit talking about them. ( I' m around kids ALOT). All I hear is Zack this and Cody that... Kinda like with Corey Feldman and Haines back in the day :O) I'll check for any performances when we get there...

I absolutely LOVE those Disney shows!!!! I watch the Suite Life of Zach and Cody ALL THE TIME. My 5 year old DS is not interested in any way! It's just me!

The HIgh School Musical Pep Rally was really cute! I saw it when it was in Tomorrowland at MK. I think it fits in at MGM MUCH better!

I completely agree! My son has never seen Bear in the Big Blue House, so he just didn't get the Playhouse Disney Live! show at all. The only show he knew was JoJo's Circus.

And heck, I admit that I like "Hannah Montana" and wouldn't mind seeing something themed after that.

She is quite a sassafrass :O) I like her too... I do admit I watch them all too... Only to "make sure" I am an informed parent on what my DD is watching of course *smirk*
I think the pep rally type show was what we saw in the Christmas parade maybe? It was great! Sure made me miss the mouse. Someday I'll get there for the holidays.
I wish they would add an area for Halloweentown shows! LOVE those!

BTW iluvwdw, Be careful if DS does start watching... Zack and Cody can be creative and cute yet pretty naughty little creatures...fun to watch but would you REALLLY want that in your house? :O) Trust me, DD has seen one too many episodes!!

Where do I find out about the Musical pep rally if there is one? Can I call ahead so we can plan for it or do I need to check when we get there... It's not on the WDW calendar and we only have 3 short days this time... So timing is everything!

The High School Musical Pep Rally is an everyday thing at MGM near the Sorcerer's Hat! Just check the times guide when you get your park map the day you go to MGM! HAVE FUN!!!!!!

In addition to the High School Musical Pep Rally, I believe that Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable are still doing meet-and-greets at MGM. Haven't seen anything about Suite Life, Hannah Montana, Phil of the Future, etc., but it would be cool to have a show centered on the "tween" shows.

Maybe they could combine Suite Life with ToT!!!! Have Zack and Cody greet guests in the lobby....made up to look ghostly of course.

That would be wonderful if they did. My DD loves Zoey, hana, phil of the future i watch all of those shows with her, so taht would be so magical to see all of them there at disney. I agree with bear and the blue house that should change. Should be something new.

TOT idea is AWESOME! You sould send that one in to the mouse!
It would make sense to focus on the tweens because the really little ones are overwhelmed/ excited at Disney already after Fantasyland and all of the other characters :O) (imo) The concept of the size of Disney and amount of characters is lost on them. When DD was little, we could walk around fantasyland and she was pooped out and ready for the pool.

The tweens get left out because they know the size of the parks and if they are not brave enough to ride the big rides yet too big and to cool to ride the small rides there is really not much left that is "cool" to do.

I told DH about the HSM daily pep rally and he is convinced DD will wet herself! LOL! He wants the camera handy... Nothing like the magic of Disney!

Day three since I found out we are headed to Disney in 12 days! and I still haven't spilled the beans that we are:
A. Going to Disney!!!!
B. Seeing HSM Pep Rally
Yay for me- I have however had a perpetual "Disney" grin.
